So is that the Carli 2.5” kit with 20s on 37s?
Yes, 20x9 +20 offset 37x12.50 ridge grapplers. It does rub on the little plastic piece on the corners. But just occasionally, not all the time

It looks good! Did you consider the 3.25” kit?

so the wheels I want are Fuel Forged and the smallest size is 20x9 +1. I’d like to run 37s though.

I did. I went back and forth a lot. My first worry was it being too high for my gooseneck and having clearance issues. I traded a 2017 f250 leveled with 37s and I ran into clearance issues with it but nothing I couldn’t get out of. I had @RugbyRef get me some measures to the highest point of the bed and it ended up being the exact same height as my Ford. So I could have ran the 3.25 kit but would have required airbags for what I haul. I got that info from CJC Offroad(they have a lot of knowledge on these trucks). So I opted for the 2.5 kit bc it saved me about $2k. You could probably run those wheels and 12.50 wide but you will have to trim. And trim more with 13.50 wide.

I did talk to CJC a couple of times. I didn’t want to spend the extra buying the add a pack and whatnot just for an extra 3/4”. These rims won’t be cheap, but they’re the only chrome/polished rims I could find that I liked.
Your MEGA cab Ram looks nice though.

They told me that the 3.25 kit will ride a little better. I can tell I big difference with just this kit. It’s a lot smoother! And thank you! You have a 2500 or 3500?

3500 Limited Crew Cab short box. Yeah I’m sure it helps these outdated 4.5 Gen Rams ride better.

I have a 19 3500 air assist and I’m bummed because I’d like to go with carli but their only option is the full pintop 2.5 for this application which is overkill for my needs as I’d prefer the backcountry. CJC said put their leveling kit on but the shocks aren’t tuned for the air ride which I’m not totally sold on. Any other suggestions?

Sawyerd - your truck looks great. I just bought a 2020 2500 Mega like yours, except midnight edition. I have an appointment with CJC on June 25th (they were booked out 2 months). I am going to do the Carli 2.5" leveling kit with the Fox shocks and add a track bar. My #1 delima is going with 35" or 37" tires. The 37's look best - but how much did your RPM drop? Our trucks come stock with a 3.73 rear end - at 75mph I am currently at 1750RPM (stock truck with 285/60/20 - 33") which is near perfect. I am concerned that the RPM's with 37's will be too low and feel sluggish and confuse the transmission. What is your experience going from stock to 37's? Thanks!

Thanks man! I’m not sure about the rpms. But I went from stock to 37s on this truck and my previous truck (2017 f-250). On the Ford I could tell a little difference, not quite as peppy I guess. The ram did feel a little sluggish when I first got the tires put on. I ended up getting the drive throttle booster and that helped take the sluggish away. I have hauled around 16,000# and no issue whatsoever with power with the 37s. I think I could still average probably 17 mpg doing 70 with this truck. Just haven’t been on many longer trips in a while. No regrets going 37s with either truck. And In my opinion 35s just look too small. Hell sometimes I look at my truck and think the 37s look small but I think that’s just bc it’s a big truck lol

Huge fan of the Carli 2.5”, I did just the shocks and coils and it rides almost as well as my raptor. Thinking about radius arms also.
Is this the 3.25 or 2.5. the shocks are 2.5 inch on the Pintop but is this the level or the lift?

I ended up going with the Carli 2.5 kit (Caril front springs, Fox 2 shocks front and rear) 37's on Method wheels. Really happy with the setup. I was mostly concerned about the drop in RPM, but its fine, not that big of a change from stock.

That’s a perfect look. What size are the tires?

Dang this thread dropped off.... I am also looking at both of these options. Anyone running the 3.25 with 35s? I'm wondering if they will look too small? Thx!!!

I have the 3.25 with 37’s and I think it looks perfect. I feel like 35 will be small for our trucks.

My personal opinion is yes the 35s would look to small. I’ve seen some trucks with just the 2.5 leveling kit with 35s and thought they looked odd. I went with 37s and although I did have to trim my pinch welds and plastic I think it looks a lot better than having to small of tires in there.

35" tires will look a little small with the 3.25 lift, but plenty of people do it. doesnt look horrible, 37"s just look better in my opinion.
