Looks like I have the Flashing ABS light issue on my truck. I have a 2000 mile towing trip planned before I can get my dealer to look at it.
Will I be safe on a trip like that? Or should I cancel. The code they pulled up was abs motor. The light does not stay on. It will not flash for a few days and then beep at me every 10 seconds
Thank you for any feedback!

I’d imagine your abs will not be functional? If you know how to emergency brake without abs I imagine you will be fine.

My 2017 ram 2500 and my dads did same thing for months. The constant dinging is enough to drive you crazy. I suppose other things could cause the issue but we fixed both of our trucks. The problem was the motor on the back of the HCU is poorly designed so the brushes are sticking so they intermittently make contact with the armature, thus the intermittent dinging and lights flashing. We removed the motor from HCU, Disassembled it and lightly sanded the brushes with 240 grit so the would slide smoothly inside the housing and make contact with the armature. This worked for both of our trucks.

It is my understanding that when that light is going off, the trailer brake controller also doesn't work. So not sure I would want to tow with it still popping it up.
