So i purchased a Factory block heater cord. I was hoping maybe someone could post a couple pics of the factory routing. The factory cord has a ton of clips and id like to keep it as factory as possible. I know i could just run it any way that I want , however I'm a little anal. Ive also searched hoping to find it, and no luck .

Thank you in advance!

If you can find one at a dealer factory installed that would help. I bought the cord for my tradesman. The connection on the block by the oil filter has a black plastic cap on it. Start there to install it then work your way to the front of the truck. At the start route it behind the electric wrapped wiring by the oil filter.

Then you will find the holes in the frame that correspond to the clip locations on the cord as you route it toward the front

On my tradesman once I took it over the frame rail towards the pass side headlight area like in the previous pic /post it didn't match up well holes to clips.

I bought one of those covered outlets and installed that in the fog light cover because I didn't want the end of the factory cord hanging in the front of the truck. Plugged it into the outlet cord and carefull cable tied the excess out of the way in the area below the pass side headlight avoiding any sharp edges against the cord.

I have a 23 and got the oem cord as well. I've looked on yt for a install vid but no luck. No vid i have seen looks like what i have. All the air dams and stuff on the front dont leave any holes left for the cord clips. Not even sure this is the right cord ( salesman sent it to me ) was just hoping someone on here has done a 23 Laramie oem block heater cord and had some helpful tips.
