Bigger tires and trans etc

anyone having any long term problems running 35" and larger tires besides the loss of mpg?
trans problems etc... Just seeing it anyone is high mileage and having any issues with the aisin etc..

If the Aisin couldn’t handle 6% larger tires long term then they would really need to reconsider putting it behind a 1000tq straight six

I've got the Wimpy Loser CTD and trans, I couldn't even tell a difference going from stock to 35s. Only 10k on this set up though. No drivability issues.

The trans will live long on a truck with 35's and a responsible driver for the life of the other parts of the truck but on the other hand.. stock tires or 33's on a truck that gets to do burnouts twice a month and never gets to warm up during the daily 2 mile commute.. will start showing signs of bad wear at about 60,000. Depends on how you use, maintain and drive it.
