Hello everyone I have been thinking about adding bed lights to my 2019 tradesman and have read a lot on here. I came across this kit and was wondering if anyone has used it but main how do you like it? Are the two lights bright enough? I was thinking do 4 or 6 because I have an 8ft bed. Any feed back would be great thank you

Powered by the cargo light above back window, so you will have three total light sources. I have 8’ bed and it’s enough light for me. switch in the bed is pretty cool.

I like the factory bed lights. I also added more lights to the same circuit.

I like having the button in the bed or on the dash to turn them on, and the reminder light in the cluster.

As soon as I have the free time (ha!) I have an LED strip kit I am going to install with the OEM switch. When I had my 1500 the OEM lights were not near as bright as the picture you attached but I assume they have been improved. Plus I have a bedrug so that will dampen lights and make installing them in the cutout more complicated. I can't speak for the lights in your kit but the functionality of the OEM option looks real nice to me.

I installed led strips when I ran the wires for my camper shell. I forget the size of the grommet, but it fit perfectly to mount the toggle switch.

I have the MX cap and put the lighting up top, I felt that once I started loading, those under rail lights would get blocked.
There is a 'hump' in the middle and they are higher than that so I'm not concerned about them getting hit.

Looks good !
Thanks... a roll of LED lights from SuperBrightLEDs, aluminum slats, and some longer bolts to replace the the ones that attach the rack on top.
It's wired into the bed lights so they operate just the same and with the button.
