Auxiliary mounted switch prep options?

When building a 3500 Laramie- you have 2 options. Go with snow chief package includes “IP mounted auxiliary switches and auxiliary switch prep”. Snow chief items such as clearance lights/skid plate can be ordered separately for cheaper if you don’t care about the crappy stock off road tires.

So you can get the stand alone “IP mounted auxiliary switches” for $149. However, you cannot get this “auxiliary prep”. Am I missing something? You would think they would prep the vehicle if they install the IP mounted switches but it’s Stallantis so who knows.

Can anyone shed light on this? If you order the $149 “IP mounted switch option”, is it prepped to easily install switched items??

That’s what I figured but didn’t want to make a mistake over saving a few hundred
