Can anyone help me out with some ARE 8ft" Cap pictures. I am waiting to get my new 22 Laramie any day and can't decide between adding the ARE Mid Rise MX Cap or the Z model.
My laramie has long bed and I can't find any pictures of these cap models on Ram's with 8 foot beds. Would love to see what they look like on a Ram before I sink a bunch of money into one.

There’s some pictures of longbeds on here. I don’t see any Z series but a couple MX.

Here’s my short bed with a V series, which doesn’t help but here’s it anyways.

Thanks for the Pic, Nice Truck and looks like the Cap fits well
Would love to see the Z or MX Mid Rise on 8 ft. bed.
I've been looking all over the net and around my area in parking lots and have yet to find one.
Starting to think they don't exist! lol

I'm liking the thought of a cap more & more lately! I would like to see a cap on a Maximum Steel Metallic

I know they look really nice on short bed Rams. I can find many Pics of them online, but I cannot find any good pics of the Z or the MX on a long bed Ram anywhere.
Starting to wonder if anybody has one on a long bed.
Maybe I'll be the first! lol ;)

Not your year, and I think it is a 1500, but based on ARE saying the body style of the HD Rams are still using the 2009 cap mold, does this pic help?

Here are a couple more of a 2015 on a 3500. Same situation as using the older mold.

Found these pics too, they are are always at an angle. I would like to see side view, not at an angle to see how long these caps make the truck look.
Wanted to compare the cab high to the mid rise. Don't want the cap to make it look like a hearst.

I have a Z on order for my Ram and it is due to show up Beginning of December after a 16 week wait.... UGH. Any issues to be aware of? How is the fit with camera in the 3rd brake light? Any rubbing on the painted areas on the bed? Any water issues? lol. Have I mentioned I had a cap b4..... No intentions on hijacking the thread and I will post a pic when I get it.

Like I said before, there is a trim piece on bottom that I was not expecting. No rubbing. I don’t have 3rd brake camera. No water issues except car wash at tailgate. Most water actually comes through tailgate, not cap. Quality is kind of meh. There are screens over the tilt out windows. No way to remove screen easily to clean. Wires for light and taillight by ARE are exposed. It would have been nice if they made a wiring channel above the back window. ARE drills holes in the cap on the bottom rail (through carpet and fiberglass) to mount to wood for transport. Cleanliness was terrible. Lots of fiberglass dust and particles trapped in carpet. Had to vacuum entire cap. Back window doesn’t have a solid feel when it closes. Have to press each side to close. I may need to adjust. A lot of these may seem like picky issues, but this cap costs close to $4,000. I had higher expectations.

Wow, that MX really looks good on that long bed. Doesn't really look long with the cap on there. Thanks for Pic.

I know what you mean, the prices are crazy and I thought this was suppose to be a high end model. Now your making me wonder if I should just go with the MX model. More room and about $700. cheaper.
