Has anyone had a serpentine belt failure? Out of nowhere my belt just popped off while driving... PS and PB gone while taking an overpass exit. Temps did climb but switched heater on and kept a 3/4 temp as dealership was 3 miles....drove in. No cluster indication or warning. I know I heard of this in the past, but thought those issues were resolved.

That’s not a common issue. You probably lost tension I imagine or did the belt physically break?

Or tensioner or idler bearings smoked.

Since you don't indicate what year your truck is that could possibly help us provide better advice, there is a TSB for the harmonic balancer "squeak/chirp" 19-20 trucks TSB 09-009-21.

There are differences between the years 19-present so it's best to include that info in your sig and/or post.
