I currently own a 2021 1500 Limited with 392 rear end. We bought a travel trailer last month and towed to Florida in May also. The 1500 struggled throughout the trip. It was only happy in Louisiana and Mississippi where I had no elevation changes along I 10. I started looking for a RAM HD that could tow the trailer and not even know it was back there. I made my decision and on 3 June ordered a RAM 3500 HO Laramie. Yes, I know it will ride rougher than the 1500, but with the trailer it will be a pleasant drive. If I decide to move up to a 5th wheel I will be prepared. Not buying any more trucks.

I have a 22 3500 HO DRW Limited
The ride is a little stiff empty as it should but with my 45’ tow hauler it rides excellent.

I was told to expect a rough ride empty, but towing would be fine. I don’t have a lot of patience. The last time I ordered a new automobile was 2000 when I ordered a 2000 Vette for my wife’s birthday. It arrived about 8 weeks after ordering.

I'm sure you'll love it. Set the tire pressure properly for your load and it'll ride fine even empty, especially with 17 or 18" wheels and 35" or bigger tires.
