Does anyone know if the 'off road package' which provides the blue and yellow shocks, changes the ride height or wheel clearance over a standard 2500 (without that package).

I think I read it raises the truck about an inch, but someone that knows will be along soon.

They are about an inch but very close but they do have an extra shock from the rear diff to the frame for Axel bumpshock.jpg

My tradesman with off-road package, snow plow package and level up does have the shock off the rear diff. If you have it it will also affect the placement of gooseneck ball. I cannot store the ball upside down as intended by BW.

Offroad package has the same springs as a regular 4x4 of the same model. It does have stiffer shocks so it will ride different but the ride height is supposed to be the same.

Off-road package does not change right height.

The shock off the rear diff is only on the hemi, not the diesel.

Dumb question but what is the purpose of the shock mounted to the rear diff?
