There is a "waiting room" to commiserate and talk all things OT, so please keep on topic in this thread and discuss order details, options, etc.

Political commentary in this thread will not be tolerated. Stick to discussing orders and the Build and Price options.

Get your build code updates from your selling dealer (best) or RamChat.
Dealers need to create a new thread for their dealership if they wish to conduct business in the forums. Staff approval is required before you do so.

Please don't poach in the Sticky Builds and Orders discussion threads. Dealers may create one post here with a link to their thread if desired. Answering member questions on options is OK but don't discuss your private deals here in this thread.​

Im sure we will hear more in the coming weeks as more info gets released. I have an inquiry with Anthony at Mark Dodge, he said he’d update when he has all the details
 
Has anybody heard when Ram will begin taking orders? We're getting ready to order a 2500 Rebel but we're trying to decide if we should wait for the 2025s to be released.

I don’t think there is a date yet but I would assume
It would be in the new few weeks/month…..

Msrp might be higher, probably no rebates on a 2025. If you order a 2024 you likely will catch better rebates at pickup. 2025 will have the new trans and probably more standard safety features and new body updates. Those could be good or bad. I chose a 2024 since I didn’t want the new trans, new possibilities of the 1500s ugly styling and more tech. But to each their own on that…

There has been a lot of discussion on the new trans. I don’t think the trans itself will be worse than the existing ones. What turns me off is the start/stop capabilities of it, no dip stick, more tech, shift knob. Hopefully it turns out to be better than the existing ones. Unfortunately Stellantis has a track record of their recent changes turn to poopoo. 2019+ lifters, 2019+ def issues - hopefully being ZF makes it better since it’s not a Stellantis product. All 1500s went to adaptive steering, cruise etc regardless of trim line so my fear is they will do that on the HD models (ford recently did that I believe) so it coming. I don’t want any of it so the choice was clear.
 
Does anyone have any indication when the 2025 MY will be released for ordering/production? I don't know what to... I don't want to buy this week and next week, the news finally breaks
 
Holy cow, I have been searching everyday for the last month trying to find out when ordering would become available and I missed that post. Thanks for sharing!

Nothing yet . . . still waiting.
Even on the July 2nd allocation call there was no mention of "model year build out" or "last chance to order"
they don't always tell us the end date in advance, sometimes yes and other times not.

But as soon as we know.... we'll be here!

So you mean you can still order 2024 rams??? I thought they closed a while ago.

I'd love nothing more my friend! Not posted yet unfortuantely. Here's what I have for 2025 code guides nothing for HDs in there yet. It won't show until literally the day we are allowed to order (at least, sometines a day or two back
