After looking through the specs on the '24 PW I noticed that the RamTrucks website shows the Payload capacity at 3140lbs. This is comparable to the other HD rams, non PW, with the base tradesman having a Payload of 4000lbs. That 3140lbs number shocked me bc all its predecessors had a payload of around 1100lbs. But I could find any articles, adverts, or videos talking about the increased payload.

Has anyone seen a door sticker with 3140lbs for payload or could it be an error on the ramtrucks.com?

Looks like an error. There is no way a PW only weighs 5,425lbs.

Not PW numbers. Towing on PW is 10K.

Ain’t no way! My 2024 Laramie has a payload of 3,015 lbs and that’s w/10k GVWR, the chart is wrong.

I agree that its wrong, but its straight from the specs page on RamTrucks. There's a page for the 2500 Rebel too. But the PW page has 3140 payload and 14,760 towing.

I posted a pic with the correct specs.

It’s an error. Take it from me - if it’s a true PW, the payload is abysmal. Now stop whining, put some bags under it and go tow too much anyway

When I was truck shopping I kept coming across those numbers but further investigation showed me they were incorrect. Those are Rebel numbers, actually the Rebel with 4.10 gears is rated for around 16,000 towing.

My 24 rebel sticker says “power wagon” and like the above posters state, it’s technically a power wagon with many power wagon parts removed. The dealer sales contract also states power wagon and that’s how the dealership referred to it, as a power wagon with rebel package.
Moral of the story is be careful with models names and packages since there is some cross over between different models. Really double check everything.
