It is harder on the children then it is on us. That was a good decision on your part. I was on my first assignment after being selected and commissioned an Ensign in the LDO program so I needed to do another 13 years or more to retire comfortably. My daughter started High School when I was stationed at NAS Key West 86-89. My daughter begged me to let her stay with friends so she could graduate in Key West. She was a handful at the time so we made her move to Orange Park Florida with us and graduate there. I think now she realizes that was a good decision. She and her family reside there and she has a great job with Blue Cross of Florida. My wife ended up taking care of both our children and getting them out of high school because of my many deployments. Proud of them both. My son retired from the Air Force in 2017 completing 21 years. My wife had the toughest job raising the children to be good solid citizens which they are. Thank you for your service to this great nation Brother!
And thanks to you my friend!

Ever get near San Marcos Tx or New Braunfels Tx we have a few nice places to kayak. AND motorcycle riding. Look me up
When I retire in 4 years we are going to be all over the place! Wife is already retired and she’s waiting on me to finish my second retirement, then we’re out of here. Moving up to the NW to be closer to kids and grandkids, but planning on being on the road 6-7 months a year.

It’s Friday OG’s and it’s almost 5:00 here. No truck news to report, thought about a few shots of Buffalo Trace but when 6 shots doesn’t do anything for me anymore I’m gonna have to dig up a jar of the other stuff…
Cheers

Called RAMCHAT and actually talked with someone, basically told me nothing still. I asked why several members are stuck at the Midlothian auto park while others are being delivered. I was basically told they don’t know and can’t do anything, I asked about my case escalation and still got no new info, she said it looks like my truck hasn’t moved in several months. So I guess just keep waiting patiently…
Told me mine was shipping but watching tracker nothing is happening. Gone are the days of customer service.

Yes indeedee! Customer service is nonexistent anymore…just like no one wants to work anymore. And why should they? They can stay at home and make money doing nothing.

Sorry…I digress. Was about to go on a rampage and checked myself at the door. It’s Friday, 5:30, and I’ve already been drinking for an hour…oops!

I’m now jsld. Cant find any info on that code. Anyone know?
Same here, kind of a stump the chump code. My understanding is JS is code for 'shipping to storage ' and KZ LD is for 'departing mixing yard', so JS LD might stand for 'departing storage on your way to the mixing yard'.

Our trucks have been at Midlothian so long its silly. I thought there may be light at the end of the tunnel for me as my tracking has shifted from going Midlothian to IL and is now Midlothian to Cheyanne, WY. This of course is a plan and there has been no execution - my truck is firmly planted in Midlothian still.

Well, my truck made the train ride from Mexico to Winston-Salem, NC. Waiting for transportation for the final 101 Miles to dealer. Maybe I will see it next week!!

This may have already been answered here but when tracking a railcar, what does arrived at industry mean?

That blue night edition Drw is sweet looking. Wish I would of went with that blue. But I’m also happy with my black dually. Ordered august 2021 and picked it up in Jan 2022.

D1 with July 26th ship date, that’s probably your build date. That step gets everyone confused. It says ship date but it means it’s going to the build step
Yep-- not confused, just using that as a rough guide for my build date. Like I said, not expecting a truck until November.

Niiiiice! You’re only as old as you let yourself be! I’m on Facebook for one reason. I have 7 friends: my wife, 4 kids, and 2 grandkids. The wife and I are about to start kayaking again, we miss it
I am right behind you youngsters at 68 years young. Live on the south branch of the Ausable River in Michigan so Kayak pretty often and love it!

I was advised by my dealership that typically most builds are not pushed more than 4 dates. We both have Limited NE and close build dates. This could be the last push.

Well so much for mine moving at all this week. I'm really getting tired of this. It'll be August before I could even hope.

It also pisses me off its sitting outside down in Mexico. Dust, dirt, bird **** all just adding to the value I guess.

Union Pacific said my rail car arrived in Mira Loma on 7/7.

Does anyone have any insight on how quick the turn around time is at Mira Loma? My new truck is sitting 3.5 hours away and undoubtedly getting very lonely....
