I want to know how that order went from $72,772, then+ $425 for documentary and compliance fee, which brings a new total to $72,972?
Mistake is in the buyers favor, saved $225. But everyone signed it I guess. Anyone else catch that?
Pay attention to the numbers people!

Even with good dealers, things slip past. My deal, was nego as OUT THE DOOR, nothing additional other than taxes, and that's how I had them word it on the POC, well, final numbers showed the standard dealer prep of nearly 500, so I point that out, suggest they discount the truck that amount to cover it, and they came right down, the forgot my deposit, again, came right down, the MSRP changed actually in my favor, imagine that, but I called them on that for the original amount off of MSRP, they came down on that too!

There are multiple layers in the dealership for things to get screwed up, the sales guy, the manager, the finance office, gotta check the numbers at every turn, no matter how good the dealership is.

Hell ya! Fortunately for me (us) my wife runs the books for our corporation and she will go spastic if a sheet is off by a cent. Where? When? How? And she'll find it too. So I'm similar now as well.
,they forgot my deposit
Oh how convenient. I bet you didn't forget your own deposit. haha
It's like you said, even good dealers, All people make mistakes, and it's okay,
I believe it to have been an honest mistake. but nonetheless, good catch.

Renae told me that I’ll be paying the 425 at signing. So I wouldn’t be surprised. She said everyone pays it and they can’t remove it. But hey I’m getting 10k under MSRP so I’m not complaining.

yup, for a mark dodge deal well under invoice, I wouldn't complain unless I had a good case. And in that case, I think my exact remakes were 'if for some clerical reason you need the list the dealer prep or whatever, discount the truck price to cover it'

I've heard so many times 'we have to charge that'. Well, then that's fine as long as you discount the price to cover it!!!!!

Like I told someone at the dealership today, 'this isn't my first rodeo.' It might well be my last, but it sure as hell ain't my first.

Same here. Working with Renae. She's fantastic! Also same as you she told me the $425 is inescapable. No complaint. None at all.

I was only pointing out on that particular buyers order which I mentioned that the price went from $72,772 + $425 should equal $73,197. BUT on that sheet it equaled only $72,972. In this case it is in the buyers favor.
Like @Grizzly Dave said, check your numbers people.

I sure hope that somehow this honk thing you guys refer to in the ‘22 MY is able to be disabled or their will be a lot of pissed off people when they get awakened by there neighbors truck. How often do you have to leave your vehicle running to run into the garage or house or whatever. There’s many times where we leave the cab to do something while the truck idles. Like load tools!
I maybe mis understanding but if y’all are correct that my truck is going to honk everytime I leave the cab with my key in my pocket and truck running that will be the number one stupidest thing Chrysler ever did. That’s saying a lot as they are the ones that had an automatically engaging ebrake on a few jeep vehicles that engages when you shift from drive to park.
Buddies rental jeep got stuck in the snow and trying to rock it out was hell.
if you lock the truck it wont honk, but yes could be annoying if you leave your truck unlocked often

Yep. Very confusing. I went to my dealer ( http://www.slimans.net) and told them what I wanted. RAM molded splash guards that bolt on no drilling. Part numbers for Limited SRW below. IMO this is a time to stop searching the net and go to dealer or someone who knows flaps…

Trying to decide between the Ram molded as shown in this receipt and the Gatorbax which cost double. Anyone here Been There Done That? On a side note, my dealership had the same parts # and was charging $10 more apiece and wanted $140 to install when the truck arrives.

Todays the day!

Didn’t make home last night. Boss man wanted to stay another night.

Be back to Scottsdale by 10:00, then the wife and are beelining it to Rodeo CDJR!

I kept waking up last night and checking my watch to see if it was time to go yet

Fingers crossed nothing is wrong with truck or paperwork.

Standby for truck porn.

I got 2.04% for 72 with a 800+ credit score and about 36% of the total price down. I thought that was pretty good!

I'm locked in at my local bank for 2.31% until the 28th of December. Since my truck still isn't here, I have a feeling I'm going to lose it. Rates are going up. I was at 1.78. If my truck doesn't show up soon, it's going to get too expensive for me. :(

I got 1.89 for 63 months through USAA. It went up to just over 2.00 if you went to 72 months and over 3.00 for 84. Im gonna pay it off in less than a year so made sense to just take the lowest rate.

Dealer said they could not match the 1.89.

Also said they could not match Ziegler warranty quote. We’ll see when we get there.

I'm with USAA as well. Retired Air Force. May I ask what Credit Score you needed to get these rates. You may message me if you don't wish to reply here for all to see. Thanks

Nice!
Hey, I have a quick question on the bedcover if it's a HF650M-do you know the actual part number?
Because I ordered the HF650M from Leer directly using the "Find My Truck" list for short bed, no R box, etc., and somehow they sent PN 650137, sez fits 09-18. Did their contact us last week and that guy told me this is wrong one; I need #650299. Trying to get them to send a call tag, as I was their screwup and I shouldn't be on the hook for a large shipping bill, but since then they've gone radio silent, even after 3 attempts to contact. No phone # on the website whatsoever, their customer service sucks!
Truck is supposed to be here in a couple weeks, and i really wanted cover on B4 snow..
I found the pic I sent the company I purchased from with the same question you have. They said it was correct and it fit perfectly. 650299 is for a 1500.

I attached their phone # as well…….6234A174-3B4A-4BDA-B175-995FF25DB53B.jpeg

I've purchased many a new vehicle for myself or family/friends. The numbers game has always played an important role in the dealership trying to add to their profit. It's been this way for years and the reason for the saying "More Crooked than a Used Car Salesman". They inundate your will piles of paperwork with figures all over the place hoping you won't read all the documents and just sign and run. When I purchase a new vehicle I make sure I have nothing else pressing for the day so I can concentrate on nothing but the purchase of said vehicle. There are many dealerships today who try and work an honest deal, but many that I consider high pressure dealerships. My last purchase was a 4 hour deal in the Finance Department alone, why? Because I read every work on every document presented to me.

Renae says my truck is on the train headed for Port Allen, LA with an estimated arrival date of 12/25. Then up to 3 weeks for transport to Mark Dodge.

What was the company/number y'all called to get your trucks priotized for transport? Also, was there a way to track it on the train route?

I’ve never taken the time to be honest, but this sounds like a great thing to do if I’m retired and making a trip to Louisiana out of this.

Up to 3 weeks isn’t actually 3 weeks at least for our 3 trucks, but with your truck showing up end of December, it might take longer because of the holidays.
Took about 7 days from port arrival to dealership delivery on all 3 trucks.
