A newbie here, just wanted to say this thread has been eye opening to say the least. Thanks for all of the info the members have put together about tracking these trucks and getting things done.

The rundown on my order:
2022 Ram 3500 Longhorn Dually w/ HO&Aisin, level 1 equip group, gooseneck prep, 50 gal fuel tank.
Ordered 10/1/21 and just spoke to Ram customer service. She’s currently in production and scheduled to ship 12/7. I live in South Texas, so shipping shouldn’t take too long. Fingers crossed! May have her by Christmas.
That’s good to know. I ordered a 2500 Laramie on 12/15 and the dealer told me 12-16 weeks for delivery. Sounds like they are running closer to 12.

My truck went through production and all the add ons after (steps, 5th wheel prep, etc.) in about 3-4 days. But I’ve been in KZ status since 12/7 and no movement. Hoping for a win/win that they get all of your trucks in the JB&JS stages finished so they can fill the train up and ship mine!

I don't believe the trucks will lock with the fob inside.
That's almost worse, at work almost every time I take a stolen vehicle report the keys were left inside. Though I was more thinking along the lines of when you jump out of the truck to grab something inside. We also get cars stolen out driveways that way too and I work in a good area. Maybe that's the problem people thinking crime doesn't happen in good areas.

I believe someone mentioned that pages ago. You have to attempt three times before the vehicle will finally lock with keys inside

I locked myself out of my 5th gen 4Runner years ago and once we got the hanger inside to press the button, nothing. It’s like the vehicle security was engaged with the fob and had to be disengaged the same way prior to unlocking. The valet key the dealer cut for me set off the alarm when I finally got in.

The tech in these things is getting crazy smart

Been a while since I chimed in
6/30 order date
There was a weird computer limitation that day I ordered I guess and the truck had dropped some of the critical options and didn’t notify the system/dealer. Mainly lighting for the bighorn.
Well it was built and shipped and didn’t come with the lights and a few other things that oddly happened as of early December…

Well, I submitted a reorder as of 2 weeks ago so I am
Hitting the reset button on my wait time.
Ended up changing a number of things in this second go around but I would bet, I’ll be in for a 10 month wait in total.

I’ll say, the dealer has been amazing 10000% amazing in this and it’s just how it goes sometimes. Actually I’m more excited for my newest order than I was for the original.

She’s here guys and gals. The wait is over. Well, couple more days to plan the trip to LA. Delmonico red is at MD too.
All 3 trucks are there (Red, White and Blue ) and ready for pick up. All 3 of us will be headed down south probably next week. It’ll be a fun ride home and I’ll definitely have them all 3 lined up for a few pictures.

Lots of unfounded rumors.

5th gen cab is likely not coming until 2025.
There's a 2023 "refresh" that's been suggested by an insider but not the cab.
ZF 8-speed is MUCH more likely than Allison at this point. The Cummins doesn't need all those gears and FCA already has a long and solid relationship with ZF.
News that the Hemi is gone for sure

Man, that has to be like a complete makeover going from 2nd gen to now!

I’m trying to keep the ‘06, just too much work into a paid off vic to just let go, plus 2 Cummins better than 1.

Got a call from Mark Dodge, they offered me 3.79% right of the bat for the loan, hell no I said, I know the rates everyone else has been getting, they brought it down to 2.39% for 48 months. Credit score around 800.
When I received the email to sign the documents, he called and said he adjusted is down to 1.99%.
That was weird.

1.99 is good, I’m hoping for a 0% offer in January!

I hadn’t heard any of this! I got a score sitting above 800, what’s the length?
