I can tell you've been on South Texas highways after dark ;)
There was 5 of them in a row 2 weeks ago. Each one had 2 being towed behind them. But we see them on I-40 in Tn all the time. Few weeks ago a Ford Taurus had a crew cab truck and a full size van behind the Ford.

Gotta respect those guys. I wouldn't have the cojones to do that job.

Sooo since so many people have trucks sitting in the JS or KZ stage...does (cough @brv10 cough) anyone know if the other standard codes still hold up?
IE- if you went to KZ-M for instance, has your truck actually left on a train or is it still sitting but physically ON a train?

---------------------------------------

JS – shipped to storage
KZ – released by plant and invoiced. The truck is ready to be shipped. The dealer is actually charged for the truck. As you all know, this can be a source of delay. Typically you see two statuses here: Awaiting Shipment and "Staged for Shipment".

Traffic Codes:
KZ L – released but not shipped
KZ M – first rail departure
KZ N – first rail arrival
KZ O – delayed/received
KZ OA – plant hold, quality audit
KZ OB – zone, dealer, sales, vehicle prep, tax, diversion or derailment hold, dealer refusal, vehicle diverted
KZ OC – carrier delay, strike-bound, emission or safety hold, rail car shortage, bad or insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest error
KZ OD – mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair, lacking parts or storage hold
KZ OE – misdropped or misshipped vehicle
KZ OF – shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered, show vehicle, test info code, vessel sailed
KZ OG – damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier, vehicle scrapped, donate vehicle, repair and auction
KZ OH – all other “O” type carrier codes
KZ T – second rail departure
KZ U – second rail arrival
KZ X – delivered to dealer
KZ Y1 – major damage – must not be sold as new
KZ Y2 – major damage – vehicle sold at auction
What if we are told its in KZ-LD? I tried to find what that meant but couldn't find any info.

Just got this from Renae at mark Dodge

“Good Afternoon. Your Truck is in KZM status and is currently on the train enroute to the railyard in Port Allen, LA with an estimated arrival date of 11/10. Once at the railyard it can take an additional 7-14 days to be transported to our lot.”

I assume other Mark Dodge orders will follow a similar route for those interested.

KZ-M, on a train that may or may not have moved yet, there is a time stamp when it's loaded and another when that trip is done

Looks like I jumped on the bandwagon again. Ordered a 3500 Longhorn from Miles Goff at Dan Cummins in Georgetown, KY for 4% under invoice. Already in D status!
I had heard they were 4% under MSRP, but not Invoice. Must have changed it up, but weird to do so now.

My dealer (@AndreaChapmanScottsdale ) told me this:
Your vehicle is KZLD status, which means will be in transit, but there is a transit delay.

So no explanation but I am guessing they are waiting on rail cars. Bunch of trucks ready to move in Mehico.

I thought I would throw this information out there. I am not sure when it changed but order delivery times were running 12-16 weeks. Considering the plant started 2022 production on 8/9 I was thinking I might be getting close. If you have not seen this, I am sorry.

How do you know its in Spokanke? Dennis Dillon DLR told me from Utah it goes to them
Mine will have to go to spokane, get dropped and picked up with a truck from there to final stop in Moses Lake, WA. I don't know where mine is if its even left mexico but I was KZ-M last week so who knows
