Nice truck Rossage! I never thought for one second that I’d want the Longhorn. Well you changed that. It’s amazing how classy your truck is. I really liked everything about it. Especially the wood and colors in the cab.
Thanks. We really enjoy it. Wife wants it now! Haha! Says her little Ranger Lariat Tremor isn't gonna cut it anymore. Haha. We'll see. It was tough deciding on the Longhorn initially. Bouncing from a loaded BH to a Laramie then this, then up to the Limited. Always had blacked out or NE style vehicles. Limited was just a bit too much for my budget. This is a little bit more than i wanted to spend, but you get so much. Mine not loaded out. More of a"budget" LH I call it. Also just thought this would be a nice change and that it is.

Do you think you can post a larger picture of your new truck. I ordered my Limited in that same color. If you post a larger photo I can see what that paint color looks like on a dually. That color looks excellent with the Longhorn package. My 1500 is that same color with the Longhorn package.
Hopefully they all load. I hand a lot of trouble with Tapatalk not actually inserting the attachments. There should be 15 pictures attached.

Man, same here! I priced a BH and Laramie and felt the Laramie was the way to go. When NE was no longer available, the wife gave me the thumbs up to explore Limited. I asked her what she thought about the all black Limited I had built, she said it just didn’t suit me, and that “black out” is just a fad (still not sure about that). I put together a LH and she said that “looks like a Texas truck that compliments your character”, so I went with that. I don’t think she’ll end up trying to drive it though, she hates duallies, and says my current Mega Cab is too big.

I appreciate you sharing pics, it is a beautiful truck and reminds me why I’m waiting.

I thought about a Laramie as well just for the Leather Upgrade, but glad I didn't since another Member mentioned the leather was minimal and lots of other vinyl and plastic incorporated in the design. Couldn't see the need to pay the additional premium and a Long Horn or Limited was just too expensive. As far as Blackout or Night Edition vs Chrome, they are all Fads Chrome was a big Fad in the heydays of shiny and dealers charged more for chrome accessories, today it's the other way around. Most individuals are getting tired of all the Chrome and desire a different look. Too me a NE or the painted bumpers that come with the Sport Edition is my cup of tea. It all really depends on your style.....

I took the Chrome trim off my 06, leaving only the decals and the grill. I like the NE look, but was able to compromise with the LH with painted bumpers. I’ll most likely end up replacing those with Ranch Hand one day anyway.

All 15 are there. I like the color. Of course I'm a little biased since my 1500 Longhorn is that color and my ordered Limited 3500 is that color . I can say "is" that color because it's built but hasn't been delivered yet. Great looking truck. Can't wait until mine shows up.

Hi Guys,
The dealer told me I am in KZD status but I can find anything that shows me what that status is, can someone help me out? It was in trim on 12/6 and now seems to be stuck somewhere. Thanks

We drove down to Louisiana on a rental and drove the 3 trucks back. We got to Mark Dodge at 8 am before they opened to find our trucks up front and ready to go. The detailing job was poorly done, I know they had to detail 3 trucks at the same time but they could have tried better. Once Aaron got in, he brought the bad news, funds didn’t come through for my (Patriot Blue) truck. They dont accept ACH, I didn’t know that when I sent them ACH 3 days before our arrival. Aaron was awesome, he spent his valuable time dealing with this as he was in and out with a lot going on at the dealership, all this is happening on Dec 23rd. We called our banks (Boa for me, Chase for them) to discuss how to proceed. I had to send another wire transfer to them to get on the road. Boa and Chase assured me that the funds I sent via ACH were declined and will come back to my account in a few business days. (Funds did come back)
We hit the road. I was impressed with the truck. I know we were traveling on flat I10 going east but still impressed. MPGs peaked at 18.9 but average for 825 miles was 18.5. We had 2 HO and one 2500 trucks. The 2500 peaked at 19.2 MPG so pretty close to the 3500 HOs.

The trucks ride soo nice. Build quality seems great, will be able to judge better with time and more miles. The other 2 trucks suffered some chips on the front end. I warned my brothers to keep distance (seen those warnings here from the guys) but they did seem to follow close to trucks and other vehicles. My truck doesn’t seem to have any chips as I did keep plenty of distance between vehicles in front.

The screen is amazing. 920 miles already on the truck and not a single glitch or issue. Hope it stays that way.

There she is in the driveway. What a beautiful truck. Was it worth the 4 months wait? Hell yes, I would of waited 6 months to get this again and save 10k with MD deal.

Shoutout to MD. They were awesome. Charles, Aaron, Sandi and a couple more guys I met while I was there waiting for the funds situation to play out.

One thing I would have done differently, order the damn running boards. Completely forgot about them during the build and order process. Definitely needs steps. Very tall truck.

Sorry for the long post.

That was what i struggled with, but it wasnt about the ugraded pleather seats. Big horn was missing some options i wanted and limited didnt have 6 seats. Katskinz can go into a laramie just as easy as a bighorn.

1st page of this threads there are some pages with different stuff. You’ll find a page with all the codes.
KZ – released by plant and invoiced. The truck is ready to be shipped. The dealer is actually charged for the truck. As you all know, this can be a source of delay. Typically you see two statuses here: Awaiting Shipment and "Staged for Shipment".

I don’t know know what KZD is but it’s something like what I copied for you.

You can get your (Monroney) window sticker here (add your VIN to the end) once it's KZ-L or KZ-M:https://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=

Traffic Codes:
KZ L – released but not shipped

Sandblasting and rock chips are the reason I avoid the Interstate when I can. It's also the reason for my preference for chrome bumpers instead of painted bumpers.

THAT, is no fad. That is just plain BAD! I almost did black with the NE. I love the black but stopped doing black way back when I was younger cuz it shows all the dust and scratches I seem to accessorize my trucks with. Yep I’ll bet you get a lot of folks reminding you that truck is off the charts.

How tall it the truck at the drivers door? Bottom of the door to the ground.... wondering if I need to order steps or nerf bars so my short wife can get in the passenger side.... lol

I never doubted you. I think you meant your reply for someone else. The NE is just too bitchen for a dude to say ‘fad’. Especially a dude like you.
I ordered the NE as well. But I did Patriot Blue. After seeing that all black one I had second thoughts for a second but remembered Tolym’s truck and my second thoughts vanished.
You know, it’s the Ram trucks that are just seriously awesome. Doesn’t matter the color. They all look great. Ram! They really hit their truck styles out of the park. I can’t believe ford and Chevy still sell trucks compared to Ram. Actually I like the look of the ford, I just want my truck to run so went with the Ram. Like the Cummins too. Just a weeee bit.
I was going to suggest to the wife that when I build our next house I can combine the master bedroom with the garage but I know I’ll lose that argument. Women just don’t seem to understand.

You know that Shark fin antenna is a bit large though. They coulda done that a bit better.
