2022 RAM 2500 build

I've had a few questions on the few mods I have done and figured I would start a thread for reference.

I ordered March 5th and received the truck August 9th, 2022 with the following specs:

• 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie 6.7L Cummins CCLB 4x4
• 3.73 gears
• Safety Group B
• Towing Group B
• Laramie Level B Equipment Group
• 50-gallon tank (freaking awesome)
• Granite Crystal Metallic paint
• Night Edition

Here is what I added in the first month:

• Retrax Pro MX cover
• Homemade extruded aluminum guard for the Retrax with tie-down cleats
• Weathertech HP liners
• B&W hitch
• Swing away toolbox
• Door sill guards

I bought the extruded aluminum, angle brackets, and t-slot nuts through Mcmaster-Carr and cut to length:

Purchased black sheet metal screws from the local hardware store. I think it would be cleaner if you drilled and mounted the angles from the backside (front of the bed) so it would almost "float"

After getting PPF on the front clip, rockers, and rear bumper in October, I ended up debadging everything in December, minus the tailgate and hood badges:

February: Baja Designs S2 Reverse Kit - Awesome for visibility at night!

After battling with the paranoia of someone stealing the Baja lights, I added tamper-resistant screws. Also added an Agency 6 shackle block.

Added a Bulletpoint RubiGrid mount in March. Easy install and works well. Cell phone didn't budge over several hundred miles of washboard/potholes during hunting season.

In July, I added MOLLE visor panels, super handy! Also switched to black lug nuts, I don't understand why they don't come with the Night Edition from the factory.

I had bought a 2007 2500 brand new but had to sell it to my dad in 2008 after getting laid off in the housing crash. My tastes have changed a bit.

Over the Christmas break, I installed the Baja Designs fog light kit, S8 20" light bar, and LED lights for the bed (wired off the stock LED bed lights). Easy install!

You might want to perform research regarding your intercooler intake and how restricting it significantly reduces power available.

I did some searching online and spoke with CJC and they said it wasn't noticeable. The lightbar is pretty low profile. No difference noted so far when looking at temps. I would guess this forum would be full of people commenting about issues if that was the case.

I appreciate your concern.

FInally replaced the OEM Trashforce with the new Falken Wildpeak AT4w in 295/65R20.
