My current truck a 2019 Ram 2500 with 19k on the factory TransForce tires, I need to get a new set of tires and new rims before winter sets in in Wisconsin and get rid of the wagon wheels. I'm working on some order sheets with Sandi and Aaron at Mark Dodge on a 2022 3500 to replace the 2500 and would just swap rims/tires when the new truck shows up. My question is I want to stick with 18" wheel diameter as tires are cheaper than 20" tires and ride better but looking at my oem rim the ET is +57.15. The rims I want Helo HE90489080700 are Offset 0 in an 18' and the same rim in a 20" Helo HE90429080718 is +18.
I don't want to add flares to the new 2022 and can this be right that the OEM offset is +57.15 and how much would the 18" 0 offset and the 20" +18 offset stick out past the fender without flares. Any help or pics would be helpful
BTW yesterday someone at Walmart parked a cart right next to my passenger front tire side step that I could not see and when I took off I hit the cart hitting my front door leaving 3 nice dents in my door for me even thou I parked in the back Forty.
