1/20 Build left me stranded, what TSB's to look for while at dealer?

So my 1/20 Build 2500 4x4 Tradesmen left me hi and dry due to a DEF malfunction. I got the 150 mile notice and was able to get to town but truck is now in limp mode. I am in ND and everything is 150 miles apart so I barely made it. Anyways, while the truck is in what other TSB's should I have the dealer address.

AC blend door retrofit?
DEF consumption update?

Also the dealer is a couple weeks out before they can even look at it. Does the Ram 36k warranty cover a rental or am I up a creek. Truck only has about 3000 miles on it so to say I am pissed is putting it mildly.

"AC blend door retrofit?"

There's a TSB that's a full on HVAC box replacement. Usually takes the dealer a few weeks to get the kit.

Can't say on the 3/36. I added Maxcare that does include $30/day coverage. Doubt that would even cover a long term Enterprise truck rental.

Sorry, that's the one I was talking about. Anything else out there that I should look into? I fully expect the local dealer to reset the def system and tell me all other systems are "within range."

What exactly is the issue with your def? Did you run out of def or is there a fault in the system

I have no idea, didn't run out of DEF though. Message popped up on my truck while driving down the interstate that basically Def system needs service, see dealer 150 miles to 5 mph max.

That is really scary. I can think of many highways I have towed our travel trailer on in Nevada and Utah where there is no way 150 miles would get you even close to a dealer.

Going to be hard to trust that truck going forward. I noticed Ramcares read the thread and silently backed out without posting in it. Wish I would have never bought the Damn thing and went with the 7.3.

Please post back once you get a diagnosis.

Try filling it up with def and then unhooking both batteries for 10 minutes and hook them back up , my sons 2019 did the same thing and that reset everything with no dealer repair needed.

Had it towed back to the dealer yesterday so can't try the reset you suggested. Thanks for the tip though, if it happens again while out of town I will try it.

Well if the dealer is a couple weeks out I would grab a few tools and some def and go try it in there back lot , better then waiting 2 weeks for your truck . But totally up to you if your fine waiting.
