Installed the Vice Design hidden winch mount and a Warn VR EVO 12-S. Still need to tighten the line but overall the install was pretty simple. Took about 2 hours with help from my son-in-law and we did not remove the bumper.

Finally got the B&W goose and 7 way installed. I did this about 2.5 years ago and I don’t remember it being as hard as it was this time around.

Front bolt on driver side (2nd pic) is a PITA, if anyone goes this route, do yourself a favor and get a stubby (not a shallow) 15/16 socket, it will help with the 2 rear bolts (right next to bed stiffener) as well. As it stands, 6 out of 8 bolts are torqued to spec @150 ft/lbs, 2 in the rear are German spec (gudentite). Few minor adjustments and tweaks for tomorrow, for some reason the handle is “laying” on the frame and i triple checked all my work (re-did some of it, NO FUN!).

Got this new rack put on for my kayak/canoe/arb awning/roof box/long lumber-hauling needs.

The tonneau cover that I put on in November was a limiting factor for most of the rack options and I finally found this one! The rails allow for the towers to slide anywhere between the stake pockets, which is where the rack is secured. The top of the crossbar is 25-1/2" from the bed rail, adding about 3/4" when the tie-down/endcap is installed. Pretty nifty setup and now that it's put together; it'll be 4 bolts (1 for each stake pocket) to take off if I need to at any point. It took me probably 1.5 hours of work time solo to install it. Probably could have accomplished the task in 40 minutes with someone else to help.

Follow up on the B&W install, a 15/16 stubby socket and the right size torque wrench will fit, wish I had the socket over the weekend for the bolt up by the fuel tank. All 8 are now properly torqued!

My nicer and larger Husky torque wrench would not fit, the head is 7/8” thick, luckily my cheap-0 Great Neck torque wrench is only 3/4” thick and was just right………

More pics to come on the couple of other “mods” I need to do for the lever, brake lines, and 7way

Looks nice. Did they weld it all together or clamp it all?

I can't decide what to put on mine. Definitely doing cat back this summer though.
All welded. They even painted the welds, first class job. I hope tomorrow I can drive it on the highway at different speeds. In town the MDS has a little more volume but in my opinion less vibration. It also seems to kick in and out of MDS more. Hopefully that's just the computer learning it can finally breath!

Cool. Would you humor me and try it with MDS off as well! I like that muffler a lot from what I have read.

My three day old new to me 2022 3500 so I’m ordering rather than installing. First off, washed 2200 miles of grime from the ride home from the dealer in Ohio.

Ordered tonneau cover, larger hitch shank for the travel trailer, bed rail hole covers, mopar slush mats compatible with the vinyl/rubber flooring (Tradesman).

Tomorrow, Rhino Lining bed.
Thursday, window tint

All on my wife’s credit card.

Surprise!

Final follow up for this round of mods!
Got the goose all squared away, “sleeved” the lever and brake lines with rubber hoses just cause they were close and I’m a little OCD. Also “fixed” the 7 way plug, dadgum that OCD got the best of me again and I mounted my 7way around where the factory does up near the 110 plug, well my slim 90* harness wasn’t as slim as I thought and I didn’t like the wire harness touching the inside of the bedside so grabbed some 3/4” stand-off spacers to fix that, I’ll find some thick rubber or something later to fill in the unsightly gap but I have a couple of ideas for this location anyway. Oh ya, got my rear RokBlokz installed (was waiting since I knew I’d have to remove the driver fender liner for the B&W).

Couldn’t get all the pics in one post

I’ll have to fix up the trim job for the lever but I’m tired of working on this little project, need to get some other things squared away before heading out of town Friday!

I’m a big fan of RokBlokz, removed these off my Max Steal ‘21 but I have to say with the billet silver and night edition, they really do blend in with the truck.
