An a new member. Have a 2011 Ram 3500 with a 6.7.
Around 6 months ago had to replace the turbo. I went with a Fleece. Then I changed the tune pack. Ever since then when I start it up and let it do it's clean up it wants to surge on and off witch changes the fuel pressure and puffs out black smoke. I have call the tuning outfit on more than one...- puller

Trailer nose high - how much of a problem is that?
It's not that it's dangerous. It will put uneven weight on the tires. The back tires will take the bulk of the weight. That being said you are not going far and you are not hauling very much weight. I would just try to get the right drop hitch soon.
