Just got an update today that the truck was unloaded at Barns Yard in Portland, OR. Less than 260 miles from where I live so hoping that my scheduled window date of 1/25-2/8 still holds true.

Since there are currently no incentives on the truck, and I have no expiring Ram bucks, I'm almost tempted to wait until after the 5th when they update their incentives. I've waited this long....

What’s the update cadence for incentives? My order went in on Tuesday. I’m hoping it’ll show up tail end of March during truck month.

I made the hour drive into the city yesterday to run some errands and cruised by the dealership, hoping. They've started to receive dealer stock '21 HDs, but my 9/05 ordered truck is nowhere to be found. The salesman has no idea where it is other than to say "it should be coming through Kansas City at some point". Saturday will make it 20 weeks. If it doesn't show up within the next week I'm going to write this one off and see what else I can find. Even with covid, it shouldn't be this difficult and protracted of a process to buy a new truck.

I hear you Loud and Clear... Been waiting for mine as well. Ordered 09-23-20 supposedly being delivered next week which will put me at week 18. Yet, I've seen posts on his forum of others getting their trucks which were ordered after we ordered ours and their getting them within 10 weeks. What the heck.

I ordered on 9/4 but the order wasn't accepted until the 8th due to the holiday weekend and I was told I should see it at the dealers mid next week. I have had that feeling of giving up on the order as well, and even test drove another truck at one point, but thought I would be kicking myself a year from now for not sticking it out. We are almost there, hang in there and it will be worth it when you have the truck you ordered.

I can get no straight answers from FCA. They have no projected build date for mine although it has been in D1 status for over 8 weeks. Give me a break. They know when they will start building my truck at least down to a couple day window. You would think that giving customers information like that on a truck that they have already put money down on would be good customer service. Nope. It even got escalated. Now I get weekly emails from a desk jockey saying that he is prioritizing my build and will get back to me very shortly with anticipated dates. that has been going on for 5 weeks as of today. This whole system is a JOKE. I can track a $2 item on Amazon better than I can track a $86,000 dollar truck. Wish they would at least bring the VOTS back. So we wouldn't have to waste time on the phone or in a chat with some who is more worried about congratulating me on my truck purchase than helping me find out any data that is actually useful. @RamCares Do you have any help on these situations. Just thought I wouldn't leave any stone unturned.
Hi @Onelongshot, we certainly understand your frustration at this point. Feel free to loop us into a private message at any point for additional insight on your vehicle order. We would be happy to assist alongside your case specialist to provide you with the latest available updates.
Today is 26 days of sitting at the rail yard awaiting to be loaded on a semi for a short drive to dealer.
No one can give me an owner of dealer, salesman, general manager, regional rep, Ram Cares, Ram U.S. Customer Care, and second level supervisor with Ram U.S. Customer Care.

I’ve now watched via the Ram website dealer stock trucks flow through that same rail yard in a day. There are now dealer stock trucks sitting on lots that did not even leave Mexico until after my truck has been in that rail yard.

REAL pissed at this point.
We would be happy to investigate this further, @mcgyver44. Please send our team a private message with your VIN, full name, phone number and email address. Thank you!
Been lurking here for a few months and taking some solace in the fact that others are experiencing the same frustrations I am. I figured I’d add another data point regarding build/shipping delays for others in the same boat. My wife and I ordered a CCSB 2500 Big Horn on 9/05. VIN is quite early, 500365. Window sticker included for config details.

Ordered on 9/05. ETA was 10-12 weeks, so by the first of December (lol).
VIN Assigned/Status Code D: 9/10
D2 Status: 11/19
Build Sheet: 11/23
Window Sticker: 11/27
SL Date: 12/04
Ramp Date quoted by salesman on 12/30: 1/13 (lol)
We're at 19 weeks as of today with no ETA.

As with others, neither the dealer nor RamCares can provide even basic information as to the truck’s whereabouts. No one knows where it is or when it's expected. And, as with others, the incentives/bonus cash offers we’ve received over the last 4+ months have begun to expire. Contacting Ram’s incentives department to see about extending them has been fruitless. Pretty much been told “tough luck”. There’s a Ford dealer nearby with a similarly spec’d 7.3 F-250 on their lot right now. I’m seriously considering writing off the Ram and picking that up instead. Spring is coming up fast and I need to get something soon to supplant the aging pickup fleet on the farm. Should’ve got the Ford a month ago for taxes but had such bad luck with the last one that I didn’t want to go down that road again.
We would be happy to provide whatever information is available on our end, @surge1116! Please send our team a private message with your VIN/VON, full name, email and phone number for the latest update on your vehicle order. Thank you!

Seems to be monthly. It doesn't always change, but that's when things are pushed out.

Patriot Blue Power Wagon level 2 with side rails, bed lining, bed boxes.
Ordered 11/14
VIN assigned 11/27
Build sheet populated today 1/21

First post here but have been following along pretty much since I've ordered. It seems to be half of forever waiting for more updates, but my story isn't as bad as those who ordered 2 months ahead of me. Hoping the offsite process goes as quickly as others have been noting in the past week or so. As of today, I am at about 9.5 weeks since the order.

Why I will NEVER factory order a vehicle again:

Ordered 10/13
Window sticker 11/27
First delivery window 12/8-12/21
Second delivery window 12/14-12/21
Told truck arrived at final rail yard 12/13
Third delivery window 12/21-1/4
Told truck unloaded from train 12/21

1/4 passed then ZERO ETA

countless chats with ramcares, calls to salesman, calls to Ram’s customer care pass

1/13 I’m pissed, test drive local truck with some of options I wanted
1/14 I tell dealer get me eta or I’m out. Also constantly trying to get Jeff with Ram customer service to reply but he says “he will update me on 1/20 at the latest”
1/15 I decide I’ll give it till sunday
1/18 write email to dealer saying I’m out unless I’ve got a truck by 1/21 (today)

this is when it gets good!

1/18 dealership says after all this time at the rail yard that Canadian pacific rail lost the keys. Dealer offers to send two techs to program keys and drive truck to dealer. Rail yard says no way, COVID. Trucking union says no truck leaves the yard unless a union truck driver drives it. Supposed to get a call from FCA rep. No call.
1/19 zero communication, I’m real pissed
1/20 owner of dealer I’m working with calls me personally and apologizes but he can’t get FCA guy either.
TODAY 1/21 FCA rep finally calls says he talked to railyard and the truck I’ve waited for [mod: obfuscating profanity with alternate characters is not permitted] 14 weeks that sat at that railyard for 32 days is “damaged in transit”!!! !!
He offers an “extended warranty” if I buy another Ram, for my troubles......Really that’s what he says! I’m done.

ramcares= doesn’t care. Generic automated responses. Don’t expect to get any worthwhile info from them.

jeff at Ram customer service you have no concept of honoring when you will respond and had zero help.

FCA you treated an excited potential customer with terrible customer service and made me hound you for 32 days to figure out I was waiting on a product that was damaged beyond sale. [mod: insult deleted]. I wasted 102 days of my life waiting on something you could of told me 32 days ago.

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered on 41 years on this Earth.

[mod: frustration is no excuse for obscenities or lack of civility.]

I totally understand your frustration and anger by the way this whole process was handled. What is your plan now. Buy one off of a lot or wash your hands of Ram and buy another brand?

Told my wife I’m going have an extra beer tonight, take a couple of days to unwind from this, and come up with a new plan.

The actual product Ram makes I believe to be sound. The customer service is absolutely horrible.

Watch, it’ll arrive tomorrow when you’re at your wits end with it. Wonder what the damage is.

I would search around, might find something optioned just how you want it!

Sorry you had to deal with that!
