I know you’re gonna close the hood before you take off but seeing the car on the trailer with its hood up makes me think of a dog with its head out the window and it’s mouth wide open lol
Haha! Its closed. :)
I still have to strap and tarp it. It cooled down a little so figured it was time to get something accomplished.

Same old setup. Dropping the boat in the parking lot to go setup camp.

On another note, pulled in to refuel in Springer, NM and there's 2 other RAM's there pulling the same model RV, though theirs were 2021 models.

Great pics! Curious how much your boat weighs? My current hitch on back of our camper is rated for 3000, but needing to get more with a heavier SXS now. At least until we find a suitable toy hauler.

Boat/trailer is ~3800 with fuel and gear.

My hitch is custom built to 500/5K. While the GD Rep said frame was good to 5-6K, I know someone with a Solitude pulling a 6K boat that's had to do significant front end structural work after cracking welds/steel. He does pull his 5th wheel off pavement and contributes some of the issues to that.

Nice. Thanks for the fast reply. Mine has a light frame of course, so that has made me pause a bit. I am now looking for a hitch builder to upgrade mine a bit so safely haul the Aluma A8818 and the Teryx4. I need about 4k I think to be safe.... If I can get to 500/5000 like yours, I'd be even happier.

On a side note, I am on several forums and when I had time in the past, was a moderator on a couple. This is among the very best and well-run places I've visited. I lurked here for several weeks soaking up the advice before I made the leap to a RAM in March. It's my first. I couldn't be happier.

Are those factory fender flares? Also I like the little mud flap in front of the rear tire.
Yes the are the factory flare for the Limited trim. Ya the flaps are an attempt to cut down on the flying rocks but she still gets beat hard, especially towing. But on a bright note I can sweep all of the free gravel I accumulated out of the box onto my driveway. :p

Picked up a new camp trailer the other week. Wanted to get a toy hauler but we'll be buying two 4 seater rzr's and I can't find anything that will work. Also picked up a 56 dodge

Here's my 30' triple spread axle rzr trailer and my 28' triple axle flatbed wood trailer. Along with a picture of the cherry and locust wood we just unloaded out of it. I also have a few small trailers , one 14' enclosed cargo and two 16' open car haulers but they are all at a different location right now.

I love it , no need for any sway control with the triple spread axles . Pulls like a dream . We pull it behind our 40 ' holiday rambler diesel pusher also but it's definitely a max on weight for it when full of our RZR's !
