I ordered a 2022 long horn 2500 in the beginning of may my dealer told me that I should be expecting the truck in late July he Told me about 2 weeks ago that my truck was half way built but did not have an eta does this seem accurate to You guys ?

From what I understand, the factory in Mexico will not be starting 2022 HD builds until July 26th...and a May order will not be at the beginning of the list.

Curious how competitive they were on pricing? Criswell in Thurmond MD wouldn’t even entertain affiliate pricing on a new Ram 5500 factory order. I even purchased my 19 Ram 3500 from them about year ago.

Ask him for the status code, it'll tell you where it's at in the process.

My order went in June 14th,got a VIN and status D 2 days later with a status of D,I check Dealer Connect daily for a VIN update and build sheet,nothing yet

It is a dealer software application. DealerCONNECT allows FCA Group dealers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and around the world to order vehicles and parts or check inventories. It will provide the dealer status of your order.

Why would an early May order not be at the beginning of the list? The switchover from 2021 to 2022 happened around May 7.

To be fair, the late-2021 are delivering in 45-50 days… so maybe that’s what he’s basing his build timeline off… but like everyone said, they don’t start that month and a half until July 26th at the earliest.

21 orders should be finished shortly,then plant shutdown and restock for 22's and production restart on July 26th.

Is it a 2021 truck? Do you have your VIN?

If the 10th letter is an "M" its a 2021

if the 10th letter is an "N" its a 2022.
