I think that’s right. I spoke to one of their current sales managers yesterday on the phone and she indicated they have no interest in getting a flood of negativity pouring into FCA over Bud Clary not honoring agreed-to pricing. She said they’ll clear out the existing orders Phillip had going.

Sounds like the dealer is going through a sort of model change in their philosophy.

Sad to see Phillip go. I really enjoyed working with him.

That's so weird. The guy I dealt with (Riley [sp?]) mentioned how last month was one of their best months ever. Hopefully we find out more, just for curiosity sake.

Suppose I should just be happy I got to ride the wave when I did.

long time Ram owner, first time HD owner (trying to be at least) , and have never ordered from factory. So far it isn't much fun. I'll try to keep it short.

Im currently trying to order the 75th Anniversary power wagon, in Anvil. Dealer says its not available as a color choice, its a mistake on the Ram website. I called FCA and said whats the deal...they say yes it's available ...dealer has to do a system override. I tell the dealer this.
Dealer says ok we can do it, but, the order sheet has to have another color listed just to start the build and then we'll call the "rep" to have it changed to Anvil. I choose black. Everything sounds great, i place a deposit. then it starts...

Next day dealer says he spoke to his "rep", we can place the order but its not gonna get built. Ram is pulling all 2500's and holding them back for 2022. Anything that's in the process of being built will not make it, from this moment on. i just had 35 trucks pulled that i had ordered in feb.

I questioned the trucks with a VIN #, they are currently identified as 2021 correct? "yeah, he says they will be 2022 truck now... i can get you into a black Rebel right now!"

Not satisfied I contact FCA to verify the info...they dont know anything about it. I search the web, and nothing, this sounds like it would be big news.

I called the dealer on his crap... "Oh you spoke to FCA... uh yeah so we placed the order, now you need to call FCA for the color change."

I called.... FCA: "we dont get involved in orders"

Call Dealer back and explain it to him. Dealer: "the order is placed, color is black. we called the rep to change the color to anvil. we'll confirm with the rep on Tuesday that it got changed." ( today)

Has anyone ever experienced this? or did i get a bad sales manager?
Are the trucks getting pulled? anyone else hear about this?
Are there any Anvil 75th anniversary PW in Canada? is it even possible to get one?
Is it to late to order a 2021 ?

Well my wait is finally over! Picked up my 2500 Mega Cab on Saturday, just over 14 weeks from time of order. Now I’m stuck waiting on the carli suspension I ordered for it the same day I ordered the truck.

I had a similar initial experience with the first dealer I tried to buy from. He kept insisting I couldn't get a Limited with the HEMI engine so I decided not to buy from them. Customers should not know more about the product than the sales people imo. I went to another Ontario dealer and the sales guy was great and great service then he got laid off and it has been an absolute nightmare dealing with the sales managers at the dealership. They tell me a story and I debunk it and cite where I got my info from and they scramble and offer to let me cancel my order For us Canadians the privacy laws that restrict so much of the info we can get compared to our American friends really becomes a pain in the ass as we have no escalation options or alternatives for info.

I ordered my Limited Megacab Jan 15th and the dealer apparently placed the factory order Feb 1st, I have been unable to get any info other than "there is a firm schedule and you are in sequence but not built" I have no idea if mine would be a 2021 or 2022 (be nice to have a 2022 with the wait though).

If I were in your shoes I would go to another dealer and deal with them. I wish I could but with being 18.5 weeks in, I am pot committed unfortunately.

A few pages back, many members were told 2021 ordering was over as FCA preps for the 22's. Good chance you will miss the 75A if you dont already have a VIN number or something more solid. That dealer is not very confidence inspiring!

Pretty sure I read that Anvil was closed out about a month ago in terms of being able to get that color. Same with the orange.

Your dealer representative is inept with regards to this process. I have ordered 3 vehicles through FCA in the last decade and not had those kinds of issues.

I have read on several occasions, 2021 orders are closed. If you have to have the 75th, I would look for one somewhere on a lot, and your dealer, or another one can help you with that. Beware, dealers are marking them up left and right.

There were a few including Anvil when the dealer put my order in but, now supply is extremely limited.

If you’re looking at a fully optioned out PW-75A, there aren’t any unless an order was put in.

I will do a lookup and post if I find any.

This looks a lot like what I've got on order. Very nice! I have an appointment with CJC Offroad to do the Carli suspension in September. They were booked 6 months out! Crazy.

Ordered Easter weekend and was told my truck is in Illinois waiting for a ride to west Michigan.

Just curious how much people are saving ordering through Bud Clary? My sticker price was $65,115 and I'm paying $61,190 through my dealer which I thought was really good

I purchased a big horn back in April. Dealer said it would be finshed on june 4th but not too hold my breath for it to be shipped out quickly. They dont really know how long it will take, what do you guys think? I'm north of chicago if that makes a difference.

I placed my order on April 30th, and my build date currently shows June 1st. I dont have steps or a bedliner which requires the truck to go to an outfitter to finish, so I should likely see it land in Louisiana a week or two after.

I didnt order from Bud Clary, but the average discount thrown around, and what I got off mine from Mark Dodge was just over 12% off MSRP.
