2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Forgive me if it’s already been mentioned but I was told to apply to Tread Lightly for a discount on the price of my new order build. I’ve paid the membership fee and am awaiting the “member letter”, which I was told I would need at the time of signing if they were going to apply the discount.

Would anyone be able to provide some insight on this? I thank you in advance...

Also said my pre-approval is about as good as it gets, so he can try to beat it, but if they can it won't be by much.

Lastly, he said my truck may arrive on 3/14. It's currently in Oregon. So that's awesome.

One other thing he did mention is that he prefers for his customers to come in Sunday through Thursday, as he is off Friday and Saturday, and it's totally crazy at the dealership. Obviously not possibly for everyone to do, but I thought it was worth sharing.

I did notice that one way flights have gotten a lot more pricey than they were a month ago...

Wonder if my truck is with yours ha. And from all the talk here I’m going to get preapproval done for financing and since I am local maybe he can beat what I get. I’ll definitely only be going in to get the truck when he’s there.

Yep, beats the corvette to 60, but the corvette pulls around on the big end of 1/4 mile, but not by much.
There are a few heads up videos on youtube. It beat the Raptor, Shelby Raptor and a 5 star tuned F150, which by the way, also beat the raptor and Shelby.
2 reasons I didnt buy one:
1. More money than I wanted to spend.
2. The Power Wagon better fits my off road needs.
 
I've still been checking this thread from time to time. Just FYI my (cancelled, deposit refunded) 1/21 order is still sitting in D1.. crazy

The party mentioned they didn't know what I was requesting and kept telling me to visit a dealership. She created an incident/ticket and gave me the reference. 4 weeks later I received a printed 1 sheet brochure. :)

Is there a Rebates / Incentives sticky that I've overlooked?

So, Truck was ordered Feb 2. Got a call from dealer yesterday. Estimated ship date from Mexico is May 27th.
CCSB CTD Crystal Granite Bighorn Level 2.

The RAM coupon and PenFed are both considered TDM codes, and can only use one or the other. That's one thing fca rebates center and Bud Clary were on the same page about.
 
HDRams Newb member here. Apologize, I've likely missed some of these details in the previous 233 pages. lol I'm looking to order a 2021 Ram 2500 Limited Longhorn within the week. Has anyone had any issues ordering a Longhorn trim? Getting nervous that I've waited too long and won't see the truck for months.

Are you ordering a Hemi of CTD?
Diesels seem slower to ship in my opinion. Probably due to the grid heater recall. Not all seem to be effected by this however.
Semi Conductor shortage is also a concern, but at that trim level i do not think you need to worry about the option packages changing.

I'll be ordering a CTD. That is what I have read elsewhere: Longhorn and Limited HD trims are not affected at this time. Just wanted to be sure I didn't have outdated info on that. Things seem to be changing quickly.

I think your still good in that respect.
You can probably tell on the build and quote site. If its called Level 1 or 2 you should be fine. If its level A or B, keep reading to see whats missing.

Damn, guess it doesn't change much though. Wasn't expecting to get the RAM one, so its apples to apples. Thanks for the heads up.

You can call tread lightly and ask them to email certificate - because of covid I think snail mail method takes longer - they were very helpful. I ended up not needing, but local dealers that were sticking to MSRP on factory order immediately said they would honor the 1% deal since the discount didnt come out of their pocket.
