Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie diesel owner, and I just purchased a 2021 Ram 3500 DRW. I came from a 6.4L 2500 which was my daily driver and pulled a 10,000 lb travel trailer. The 6.4 pulled well, but I got real tired of having to stop at every gas station to fuel up. Also, since it was a gasser, I had to "pre-plan" my stops every 130 miles or so (for fuel), and use Google Maps to look at the gas station to ensure I can maneuver inside the gas islands with a 36-foot travel trailer. More than once I ended up having to back out. I'm really looking forward to going a little bit further (with my 50 gallon tank) and using the pull-through truck lanes to refuel.
Planning on upgrading to a 5th wheel in the future.
I look forward to any and all advice on how to properly take care of my truck being a first-time diesel owner. (It does feel intimidating at first!)
