2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Doesn't look like that is always true. Unless it is being triggered by another one of his options in conjunction with the Off Road group.

I've tried to configure it several different ways (on the Ram consumer site) but I can't find a way to add BOTH Offroad Group and Protection Group together - with any of the options I ordered.... whenever I add OffRoad Group, it removes the Protection Group. It's really odd. Anyways, provided I actually get the truck built with the Offroad Group (and not just the Protection Group) then all is good - I just get nervous as have already seen a few issues on my POC which I had to correct, and each time that I had to ask the dealer to modify the POC, something else seemed to change, so it makes me really nervous as to whether or not the truck I ordered will be built exactly to spec!

Does anyone know - is the dealer "sales system" configurator different to the configurator which us consumers see on the RAM website? It's really confusing and my experience with factory ordering does not leave me feeling confident that I am going to get the EXACT truck I wanted, which is the entire reason I chose to factory order in the first place. I wouldn't want to be in my dealer's shoes if the wrong truck shows up after waiting 6 months for it. I will be irate!

This is my question too......frustrating to have that omitted but hey, they gave a huge 270 dollar discount. Pshhhht
I ordered on 2/26 and my dealer actually had to order "Equipment Group B" (which doesn't have Blind Spot) as they said Level 2 was blocked out by that stage. I have read some folks on here who ordered Level 2 and actually got it, but the way I look at it, if I had ordered Level 2 (and not Level B), then chances are greater that the truck would sit in "D" status longer, IE waiting on parts availability.... and it's clear there is a shortage.

I want BSM also, and have begun researching how to swap out the mirror glass (to the indicator version) and add the sensors to the rear LED tail lights. Can't be that hard, but then again, nothing like this seems to be easy.

Here is a random window sticker that has both protection group and off road package. It looks to me that off-road package includes protection group.

Consumer build system and dealer build systems are different according to the sales manager that ordered my truck.

I was nervous it was going to come by rail from mexico which I think would take longer than a ship so kinda happy its on a ship instead.

My order was placed with Level 2 group, but my build sheet and window sticker both say Level B group... but I have the blind spot as a separate line item for $695.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I think I will feel more confident when I get my window sticker based on this, but that's probably still a month away at least.... I am still in "D" status, haven't moved to "D1" yet.

Is anyone else's truck stuck in Texas?

Mine has been there for over 4 weeks.... According to my sales guy.

I am looking to add the BSM myself when I get my truck due to the "B" groups. Please let me know if you find all the part numbers needed.

In San Antonio railyard? Mine is there but not so long yet, probably less than a week.
My sales guy only said Texas, I am not quite sure where in Texas. He said they are having trouble getting trucks on rail cars going to Benicia, CA right now. Not just my truck.

He did say that he asked to get my truck marked "Hot" in hopes to get it shipped soon. I am not sure if this "Hot" label means anything? This is getting frustrating.

I haven't looked for what wiring harnesses might be required, but so far here are the Mopar parts I believe will work to add BSM into my 2500 with LED tails:

Blind Spot Radar Modules x 2: 68358104AE
Blind Spot Radar Seal x 2: Mopar 68396594AA
Mirror Glass, Towing w/Blind Spot RIGHT: 68401394AA
Mirror Glass, Towing w/Blind Spot LEFT: 68401395AA

Interesting. Wonder what the reason for that could be and whether it is all rail routes or just the one to Benicia? My truck is heading to Spokane so probably going to travel a different rail line than one going to Benicia.

I saw something similar when I built my truck. I ordered a bighorn lvl 2 and was hoping for Chrome bumpers, Online it worked. But dealer said I had to order the lvl 2 with either the sport package or night package. Sport was only ~$250 but night addition was a few thousand (Canadian).

Went with the sport and will be expelling the lower bumper atleast to help from rock chips

The Sport Appearence Package is $795 Canadian and give you the colour matched bumpers and grill surround.

I found this wire harness 68396013AB That I believe works, but would have to get the truck first to see what is needed in the tail lights.

No. On my Bighorn Level 2 it was a $250 option. I think i got it for $220 through Chrysler Advantage plan.
Not sure if it was the Level 2 package or the premium cloth bucket seats i spec'ed. but something made me choose it.
I could not order it with Chrome bumpers and grill like i initially wanted.

Post up a picture of your POC. I was charged $795 for the Sport Appearance Package on my Bighorn Level 2. I also ordered the Premium Cloth option.
I would like to ask my dealer why I was charged over triple for the option. Attached is a copy of my POC.

I would definitely question that for sure. I also ordered the Sport Appearance Package (with Level B Group, Similar to Level 2 but no BSM).... and I paid $220 also (which includes my Advantage Pricing, so $250 without).
