What did you do TO your RAM today?

Jc......what was wrong with the Firestones?
I just replaced brand new (Chinese bomb) tires with Goodyears on my Grand Design and they were expensive. I had Continental Extreme Contacts on my 1500 Ram over OEM stock Goodyears and they were great....but, don't know why everyone doesn't like the Firestones.
What did you go with?
Thanks
Ray
The Firestones suck in snow.

What is everyone replacing these Flinstone tires with? Personally I agree with they suck in the snow, they ride like crap, they are noisy and more....Dealer already offered me 500 for the factory tires if I provide him new tires before pickup of new unit.

I went up a couple of sizes, replaced with Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I travel a lot of muddy/dirt roads and through fields so I went with a more aggressive tire.

The Firestone is ok on the Interstate, as that is what I believe they are designed for, but they are NOT an all terrain tire, and suck on snow. They were not good up here in Lake Effect country, which is the best testing place for tires!!!

Installed my MX4

Looks like a GM hiding in the background...

Other than a few scraped knuckles routing the airlines, the airbags are simple place and bolt brackets. Removing tires makes for an easier installation.
Debadging resulted in blisters on both thumbs rubbing off the rubbery goobers from the badges.

A decal eraser wheel is a lifesaver when trying to remove that goo.

I called myself doing same thing! Although, mid-job, I decided to go to parts house and try to find one of the rubber wheels. Couldn’t find one. I DID find some AMAZING adhesive remover. I had GooGone and it wasn’t touching it. I found a plain white can, made by 3M. It was $20+. It pained me to buy it, BUT boy was I amazed! That stuff is awesome!!

There are many good tire threads in the wheels/tires forum.
