I know in my area, there are very few HD trucks of any brand on dealer lots.

If you ordered Level 2, the issue maybe Blind Spot and Cross Path parts supply.... they introduced a Group B pkg alongside Level 2 equipment group due to a parts shortage. That maybe the delay, so you might end up with the Group B package like I discovered with my order.... (I thought I ordered the Level 2 on my Bighorn but turns out the dealer changed it to Group B due to these parts issues).

I already got my build sheet on the 3rd and everything I ordered was on there, no package change . I verified from a upper level management that it would include everything I ordered it with just haven't received window sticker yet.

I have a friend who ordered a GMC 3500 a couple months ago and now he’s getting the same runaround on his truck. It was supposed to be delivered a couple weeks ago, now it was supposedly pulled from delivery for a quality inspection. Seems weird that even other brands are saying similar things.

Ordered beginning of December, took delivery March 6th. Fully loaded Laramie 6.4 3500. Pretty much everything except sunroof and 12" screen. 20210314_130356.jpg
 
Not sure if reordering will get you what you want. There are a few items that are no longer available. Blind spot and cross path detection being the big one. If they don't have the chip, they don't have the chip and canceling and reordering doesn't solve that problem.

Fortunately I ordered just before the level B codes hit. I now have a window sticker that lists blind spot and cross path detection. I feel very fortunate. Just waiting for a train ride to GA.

You can get a P.O.C any time you want one. Just ask you salesperson to give you one. If they don't know what it is then go to the sales manager. He can get it for you.

Not only does the P.O.C. have the options listed but also has you vin and von #s along with pricing and current build status.
 
Ordered 01/25 as per RamChat truck is in shipping stage. Fingers crossed hopefully soon.

There should be a clause on the bottom of your sales receipt that says after 90 days the terms of the agreement, ie taking delivery of your truck, are subject to change or no longer valid. Which should make it easy for you to get your deposit back, especially if you stick with that dealer and order another one right away. I spoke with my salesman yesterday and he mentioned it to me. I’m expecting to wait 6 months for my PW 75ae, should make for a great birthday present now though! Haha I’ll try and remember to get a picture of it when I get home from work in an hour.

I ordered a Tradesman with every option on 02/12 and I’m still in BG status. Wondering if the Safety group is holding things up. Who knows, but crazy how some get built quick and others wait forever.

Well, I finally got my VIN last Friday (8ish weeks from order date). Not sure how long it had been available for but my dealership is down to a skeleton crew with COVID so had to get all new contacts. I went to look up my payload etc on the Ram site but it states VIN not available o_O so guess I am waiting a bit more.

Does anyone know if we can track our status anyway without going through the dealership?

Ordered 1/21 and received the same info from RamChat yesterday. Also sold the 2nd gen yesterday and have about a week of enjoyment left with her. Looks like I may be cruising the Subaru for a bit, while moving and also closing out mother's estate. Great timing

I found out today after talking to RamCares that my truck was built and awaiting shipment. I found the Window Sticker online, but no build sheet.
