2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Mine sounds similar to Newtocummins2021:
Ordered 2/22
Email yesterday saying delivered to dealer week of 5/2 - Spokane, WA

3500 Bighorn, level 2, 68rfe, LB, DRW, 4.10, 5th prep, bedliner, upfitter switches.
If I recall, level 2 wasn't in their system but it was called level B. It was slightly cheaper but seemed the same. Figured the difference was probably blind spot. This was the first time I heard anything from the dealer. I've been trying really hard to be patient and not even inquire but it does feel good to have a date now.

Now that you say that, mine does say level B, not level 2. Maybe that's the difference.

I ordered in late Feb, right after Safety and Laramie Level 2 switched to the "B" levels, both packages dropped around that 200-250 range but the dealer, at that time, was able to order blind spot/cross detect separately which was about $550, so at the end of the day I still had blind spot on the POC (XAN) but not via a package as it was a standalone item. If I don't get it not a deal breaker as it sounds like the blind spot will not work pulling a 5th wheel camper anyway.

Ordered 2/24, VIN 2/25, Est ship 3/31 (per dealer update this week...not holding my breath on that at all)
2021 3500 DRW CCLB HO Laramie level 2 (B), Tow tech, safety group, bed group, power boards, 5th wheel prep

Any news on the rumored recall? I think someone mentioned FCA is supposed to announce it officially today. I know mine is being routed to the North Jefferson Assembly Plant in Detroit for something. Hopefully not for long.

Ordered 2/11
VON 2/11
VIN 2/24

Laramie 2500 Mega Cab 4x4 Cummins
Billet Silver, Black bucket seats
Laramie Level A (Level 1), Towing Tech B, Safety Group B
+ Blind Spot and Cross Path
Colored bumpers, anti-spin, wheel to wheel side steps, LED bed lights

I ordered after the Blind Spot chip shortage, so that feature was added on along with the alternate package groups.

I received an email 3/8 that truck should arrive week of 4/10. I will be amazed if it does arrive that week.

This will be my first full sized truck and American vehicle. Bought it to tow a 24' enclosed trailer for my hooptie racecar.

Day 38 for mine at the Body Vendor purgatory. Still no info at all. 3500 CCSB Limited, Night edition, Delmonico Red, Loaded.

For all of those looking at your estimated delivery to dealer, I wouldn't count on that too much unfortunately.

Mine is a Tradesman 3500
Ordered 1/9
Vin shortly after that
D1 for just about 4 weeks
Build sheet on 3/3
No window sticker yet as the truck is stuck at the body vendor.
Original email with dealer delivery was 3/17 but I never counted on that to begin with.

I assume the truck is there possibly due to this recall that is supposed to come out but that is just speculation.

There is another thread this morning where someone posted a photo of the recall notice.

Here you go.

Looks like bad news for anyone some waiting on a Cummins. Stop sale order.

does a window sticker define that the truck has been completed and ready for delivery?
Can't tell you for sure but on two basically identical trucks, except for bed length, ordered through our dealer here is the progression. On the first, the build sheep populated and less than 24 hours later there was a window sticker. On the 2nd truck, the build sheet was populated 2 or 3 days ago and no window sticker yet. There seems to be greatly varying times between build sheet and window sticker.

This recall seems similar to the one they had on the 2020 diesels, I guess they didnt remedy the problem the first time......It sucks......I guess I will jst have to wait but happy it never left the Factory

Basically means the factory is done with the vehicle and is ready for shipping to the dealer. That doesn't mean it jumps on the next transport though; it can sit anywhere for an indeterminate amount of time. This is the second reason a lot of us are griping on the forums- because no one really knows where the truck is and when it'll arrive at the dealer until it actually arrives. Some dealers seem to have more pull than others and can give you a heads-up a couple of days before it arrives.

Looks about right

Dealer doesn't know for sure if the recall affects my recent order yet, but said it probably will delay it. I'll know more on Monday (maybe).

Anyone? Can you not read? It says "Certain 2021 Model Year Trucks". I just did a servey of several Trucks, all Cummins and all Mega Cab like mine, and only about 1/4th come up as being recalled. Most are earlier 2021 production.

So you are basically stressing everybody out over likely nothing.

Did you do the VIN search on the main Mopar page at the bottom where it says check for recalls? If you did and found some that are being recalled, that's a good indication that those of us that are putting ours in and having it come back clear will be okay. Thanks
