Price negotiated from MSRP

Been perusing this board to help me make a decision on buying or ordering a power wagon. I really want to order to ensure I get what I want, but with rising gas prices and Memorial Day right around the corner, I'm wondering if it'd be in my best interest to wait and see what kind of incentives or rebates are available in May. I'd appreciate any opinions and insight. Thanks.
If looking for a big change in the incentives I would bet based on the current offers available for the 2020 models (nothing great) , the shortage of these units sitting on dealer lots, the situation of parts/computer chips availability, no major incentive for February which is typically truck month my guess is they wont get much better till much later in the year when things improve. Just my guess!!

Prices discussed/quoted should never be 100% "OTD" as state and local taxes, fees, registration costs, etc. vary significantly.

If you don't have a baseline then it's all relatively meaningless.
Nowadays it’s pretty easy to get an accurate out the door price. Our dot has a calculator tool that dealers use that is spot on.

Been shopping for about a month and the last 4 dealers I've called are no longer coming off MSRP any, citing supply and demand.

Read through this thread for recommended dealers. You might have to travel a little ways, but if you enjoy saving thousands of $ then it's worth it. 12.5% below MSRP is still very much attainable.

From Nebraska I made the drive to Minnesota (11+ hrs) to grab the truck.

I'm seeing the same in Washington State. They're holding to MSRP. Are folks really getting 6% off invoice or MSRP?

I just called FCA about incentives. Nothing available for March on the HD trucks. She said to call back on 4/2 and check April incentives. I did find out and I'm pretty sure the dealer may have let this one slide......that I get $500 conquest money for owning my Subaru. Something is better than nothing.

Ordered a '21 3500 Big Horn HO Cummins from Philip Olson at Bud Clary in washington. MSRP $76,005. Invoice $71,061. Got it for $64,000. About 16% under msrp, 8% under invoice. Highly recommend Philip. Just gotta ship it to Indiana, quotes I have average about $1100. Still way cheaper than local.

Have folks mentioned with the dealer the type of deal they're seeking based on other's experience? I've not reached out to Philip Olson at Bud Clary yet but they're now on my short list.

I told him he came recommended on this and other forums. His initial offer was 6% under invoice.

The best deal I've found was at Coon Rapids Chrysler.....

I was told inovice-holdback-500

Thank you Bigwalnuthoney. I'd be prefer to be transparent which hasn't worked over the last month..

I have reached out to Philip Olson at Bud Clary and shared that I had been referred to him.

Haven't had any success with Tacoma Dodge, Larson Puyallup, CJDR Enumclaw, Autonation Bellevue and CJDR Renton.
