Well inch by inch as they say. My build sheet populated this morning. Not sure if that means built with tires on the ground or just that building is now imminent. No window sticker yet. But any progress is encouraging I guess.
 
Found this after a little digging. Take it for what it is. Sounds like it’s one of the canned responses from @RamCares.

So far, the RAM 2500 crew cab basic truck has received 7 complaints. This includes 2 steering related issues, 1 electronic stability, speed control, and brakes related issue, 1 GPS issue, 1 Fuel and propulsion related issue, 1 forward-collision warning related issue, and one issue related to RAM box plastics.

Same here, Will T. Not sure the average time between build sheet populated and shipment. I did not get a window sticker either

Dealer emailed and said “unfortunately the shipping date was originally estimated to be 3/15, however, it has been moved back by a couple weeks”

We haven't been able to get them since 2016.

Sorry it is not a outdoorsman but a big horn....l have a 1500 outdoorsman

Went to the dealership to check on the shipping status of my 2500 Limited Longhorn yesterday afternoon. Was told that it arrived at the rail yard 5 days ago, but is currently on hold. There is a recall that is supposedly that is coming out today on all 2500/3500 trucks. Until the recall is completed, they are holding the trucks at the rail yard. Sales Manager did not know what the recall was. Has anyone heard of a recall coming out? I have looked in ram cares and it shows no recalls this morning so far.

Well I am going to second what you said about the recall. I called my sales manager this morning asking him to check with his contact at the factory and please find out why my truck has been at the body vendor for two weeks ! After waiting for a call back from fca all day he finally got it and called me directly afterwards. He said well I have bad news and good news , the good is the truck is all done the bad is there is a recall on all 2021 heavy duty pickups ! Then the worse news , they won't tell me what the recall is until Friday but at this time there is no parts available for the fix and no time estimate of when they will be available
So all the trucks on lots can now not be sold and all of our orders are going to be held untill the repair is done. I will update you all again on Friday if he gets back to me with the reason for the recall.

Ordered same time frame and still in D1. No build sheet yet. RamCare stated the same as others reported, parts are gathered ready for build. Stated I should check back later in the week.

My truck is currently "at the body vendor" as well so it looks like I'm in the same boat as you. It'll be interesting to see what the recall is.

I agree with those who say the options may be what determines the wait not Limited vs Laramie etc. There were 3 Laramie trucks ordered by our dealer at the same time in January with mine being one of them. One of the trucks was built a couple of weeks ago. The other two, including mine, have been sitting stationary at D1 for 5 weeks and 6 weeks now. Although with that status being "all parts available, Gateline schedule – Date scheduled to be built", I wonder why there is no progress. The other odd thing is that the truck that was built a couple of weeks ago was optioned identically to mine except that it has a long bed so the difference was not things like computer chips. I really don't think we are going to figure out why timeframes vary so much.

I also spoke with my sales guy. I even sent him a screenshot of this. He sent back a screenshot off his computer (and asked me to NOT share the info on the screen as it’s dealer confidential) and it clearly states “NO RECALL” on mine.

The information shared here definitely helps answer some questions, however, it would be nice to get some “official” answers from Stellantis itself. Speculation is difficult at best. When you consider our orders alone are worth millions at least to that company.

Sorry guys, missed the question, my order was 2021 2500, Laramie, air suspension, 6.4 hemi, crew cab, 8ft bed, 4:10 gears, black out edition, loaded up with all other options except sunroof. Denver Colorado

Wow, I wish I had bought from your dealer lol. My dealership temporarily laid off everyone I had been dealing with for my sale. I have been unable to get anyone to even respond to me for a new contact, let alone look up the status of my order :(
