What are the specs of your truck? Still trying to figure out what is going on with my truck. Ordered 10-21-20, still not here. ,2021 3500 limited, 6.7 HO, 4:10 gears. All options

Unless they come with some sort of remote sensor, not likey. The angle between the tail light sensor and the corner of the fifth wheel is such that it can't sense anything this is next to the fifth wheel and could make you think there is nothing there. At least that i my analysis. Mirrors are your best friend.
 
I'm back in D1 after moving from D1 --> D last week. However with my move to D1 for the 2nd time, my estimated ship date has slipped from 3/17 to 4/6

Received from my dealer today,
It is currently in KZ Delay status with an ETA of 4/13 to the railyard.
So that puts it approx 1 Month past the original date
 
I checked with Ram Chat today and here is the response - All of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon. I guess that means D1?
 
Ram chat told me today mine is in shipping process and will have no further updates until it is delivered to dealer. Now I wait.
 
So from what I’m seeing, I shouldn’t get too excited about my new order as it will likely be pushed back...

I ordered a 21 2500 Laramie mega cab on 3/10/21. Dealer gave me a VIN # today and said it was in D1 status with a ship date of 4/6.

Well I guess I should have ordered a Laramie and not Limited. I might have to re-order to get a truck sooner

A lot of it seems to depend on the options you ordered. Mine has progressed very quickly since my 1/11 order date, and should be here in the next 2 weeks at the latest.

I agree with those who say the options may be what determines the wait not Limited vs Laramie etc. There were 3 Laramie trucks ordered by our dealer at the same time in January with mine being one of them. One of the trucks was built a couple of weeks ago. The other two, including mine, have been sitting stationary at D1 for 5 weeks and 6 weeks now. Although with that status being "all parts available, Gateline schedule – Date scheduled to be built", I wonder why there is no progress. The other odd thing is that the truck that was built a couple of weeks ago was optioned identically to mine except that it has a long bed so the difference was not things like computer chips. I really don't think we are going to figure out why timeframes vary so much.

Went to the dealership to check on the shipping status of my 2500 Limited Longhorn yesterday afternoon. Was told that it arrived at the rail yard 5 days ago, but is currently on hold. There is a recall that is supposedly that is coming out today on all 2500/3500 trucks. Until the recall is completed, they are holding the trucks at the rail yard. Sales Manager did not know what the recall was. Has anyone heard of a recall coming out? I have looked in ram cares and it shows no recalls this morning so far.
