2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Ordered same day as yours with est ship date 2/24. That was according to the POC sheet which was printed on 2/9. Still no parts list or window sticker so guessing it hasn't been built yet. Don't see it shipping on 2/24. I've got a number of trips along with a new 5th wheel RV coming tied to this truck being delivered by 12 weeks (dealer said 8 to 10).
Still not impossible. They had mine down for a 1/19 ship date and it was built on the 1/17 and shipped on 1/18. So if they give you a ship date of 2/24 odds are your build date will be 1-3 days before that date.

That's where my mind is. If it is shipping on the 24th, it should be built this week or very early next week. If that slips, I'll start to be concerned.

Ordered a Laramie 2500, CTD, night edition with all options on 01/25/21. Received email from Ram on 01/29/21 providing me with the VIN and also stating that it is set to arrive the week of March 31st at the dealer. (hopefully that is true lol) Salesman said 12-14 weeks.

Yeah I knew going in that it was going to take longer than normal. 11.5 weeks until build was a little longer than I thought, but I am in it this long might as well tough it out for the finish. After all this is the exact truck I wanted and will never find one like this on a dealer lot for sure. Also a total of 16-18 weeks until delivery still isn’t too bad.
I'm with you... the reason I went this route was so that I could get it the way I want it and not pay the same price, just to end up having to spend more for after-market add on. I certainly understand if there's some that must have it soon because of personal needs, but I made sure I had back-up, so am in it for the long-haul. Just means I'm saving that monthly payment longer, which will turn into additional downpayment.

Dealer says FCA/Stellantis is responsible until truck get to dealer for shipping and he has no control over it. FCA/Stallantis has acknowledged to me they are the ones (in control of) the shipping and the trucking company that takes it to the dealer.
Where are you located?

Thanks for the input guys, I just got my build sheet today! The truck still needs bed liner and 5th wheel prep, but it's moving long!

Glad to here that. I should be right behind you with mine being ordered one day later than you :)

For sure they are. We are seeing some trucks delivered in 8-10 weeks. That is very promising. They build them in lots. So depending on when you order you may get lucky and get it sooner. My truck was a weird order. I ordered a Laramie with 6 passenger seating. No center console. Try finding that truck on a lot anywhere. So I will wait. Dealer did say my truck should be here this week. So now I am actually getting excited.
Heh - I ordered a Laramie with the bench front seat as well. Couldn’t find one anywhere / and couldn’t figure how to filter search to screen for that. Seemed like every truck that might work wound up having center console.

I had the same issue. I couldn’t find one anywhere unless I dropped down a trim level.

When did you order your truck? I ordered the end of October.

For all of those thinking 12 weeks is painful, my truck has been built since 12/14 and is still not to the dealer. It has been a complete joke, I am very close with my dealer and everything is transparent, I can see what they see in dealer connect daily. I move truckload freight for a living and it’s honestly a joke at this point fca can’t get a truck from Mexico to KC in 8 weeks time. I’ve lost all rebates that were active for its original targeted first of the year delivery eta. The truck had no funny business associated with it where it needed to be fixed or go back to the plant, it’s just fca not having their crap together. So fellas if you’re bummed, there are plenty of us still waiting

Depending on the incentives lost, I would walk. At least try to make the dealer meet you halfway on price and throw in some extras.

Two days ago..., now for the waiting.
I’ll send you some pictures. My deale let me know that mine hit the gateway rail yard today so I should have it by early next week. Not bad 16 weeks.

Write a polite note to a senior executive there, you might be very surprised at their response to resolve your situation equitably.

Ordered tradesmen with power wagon package on 11/23. Salesman told me on 12/10 it should be 6 to 8 weeks. Was told on 01/22 truck was built and ready to be shipped. Asked for update yesterday and was told it’s in final stage of production/inspection and should ship to Colorado “any day”. Only extras I got was some towing mirrors and spray in bed liner, otherwise a pretty basic unit. Sitting at 12 weeks now, guessing I won’t see it until at least some time in March. I am in South Dakota.
