Same here. I ordered on 30 Jan. Spoke to RAM chat today and all parts are gathered and awaiting build. Expected delivery is week of April 3.After chatting with Ram chat this morning, they were able to give me the VIN and clarify the truck was ordered in my name. So that's good news. It is currently "gathering parts awaiting build".
With the number of times I've heard that tune in this thread it's a #1 hit.Its all fun until Friday makes 21 weeks since you ordered and you still don't have your truck. Does anyone here know what the definition of an excuse is? "My truck is sitting at the railyard"... hey that should be a country music song...
I ordered Mine on Jan 2nd. My build was estimated on Feb 25th with an estimated arrival the week of Mar. 15So I see people on here with expected delivery and ship dates. Ramchat is not giving me that. Ordered the truck on Jan 1st, build started Feb 14th. Any insight on past experiences of when to expect my truck?
What in the world are they telling you? I'm only 2 weeks in, so won't even begin to "worry/wonder" until mid-April. While the dealer initially told me 10-12, (12 would be end of April), when I placed order on 2/4 he said that it looked like things had picked up a bit, so should be 8 - 10. If I receive by/before week 12, I will feel lucky!!Today is makes it 24 weeks since I ordered and still no truck. I’m seeing people who ordered in January taking delivery. How is this possible?
This would be infuriating.. seriously you could reorder now and still get it quicker. I would almost assume something happened to it, and wouldn't want it at this point..Today is makes it 24 weeks since I ordered and still no truck. It didn’t ship for about 6 weeks from factory after it was built as options were added and it was allegedly sent to an outside vendor for that (bed liner, 5th wheel prep). Once it shipped it made progress fast until it got to the last train yard where it has been waiting to be picked up by truck for a month. What in the world are they telling you? It's my understanding that the dealer is invoiced once the truck ships so it would be in their best interest to get it sold to the buyer soon as possible. I would guess they would push the shipping company, or whomever is responsible for getting it to the dealer. Unless of course if they sold the vehicle and ordered another one, or who knows whatever. 24 weeks seems impossible considering what others are seeing. Not sure what I'd do but accepting the dealers BS responses is not one of them.It didn’t ship for about 6 weeks from factory after it was built as options were added and it was allegedly sent to an outside vendor for that (bed liner, 5th wheel prep). Yeah I knew going in that it was going to take longer than normal. 11.5 weeks until build was a little longer than I thought, but I am in it this long might as well tough it out for the finish. After all this is the exact truck I wanted and will never find one like this on a dealer lot for sure. Also a total of 16-18 weeks until delivery still isn’t too bad.I ordered on 1/8/21 and I was told about 6 weeks by my dealer. In the next few days, the POC was updated with an estimated build of 2/24 and a couple weeks later, I received an email with an estimated delivery of the week of 3/23. I believe that would put me right at 11 weeks. I will say that if it doesn't look like it is close by that point, I will likely move on. 12 weeks isn't unreasonable, but I'm not sure I would have ordered had I been told 12 weeks. If it looks like it is pushing closer to 20 weeks, I will find something on the lot. Or another brand. Hopefully it stays on schedule! Best of luck to everyone waiting.
Agreed. I'm hoping this doesn't take too long, but I'll wait for it regardless of how long it takes. I'm sure it will be worth the wait! When I see folks pushing 12 - 15 weeks, it doesn't sound bad, When I see 20+ weeks and no resolution in sight, I get worried. I do think things are moving a little faster now.Yeah I knew going in that it was going to take longer than normal. 11.5 weeks until build was a little longer than I thought, but I am in it this long might as well tough it out for the finish. For sure they are. We are seeing some trucks delivered in 8-10 weeks. That is very promising. They build them in lots. So depending on when you order you may get lucky and get it sooner. My truck was a weird order. I ordered a Laramie with 6 passenger seating. No center console. Try finding that truck on a lot anywhere. So I will wait. Dealer did say my truck should be here this week. So now I am actually getting excited.I'm sure it will be worth the wait! Dealer says FCA/Stellantis is responsible until truck get to dealer for shipping and he has no control over it. FCA/Stallantis has acknowledged to me they are the ones (in control of) the shipping and the trucking company that takes it to the dealer. It's my understanding that the dealer is invoiced once the truck ships so it would be in their best interest to get it sold to the buyer soon as possible. Awesome! Funny story, I wanted a laramie with air suspension and a few other specific options - including the 6.4 hemi. There was one hemi in the US that met my requirements, but it had a bench seat. Congrats on your truck and hopefully it is here this week! For sure they are. We are seeing some trucks delivered in 8-10 weeks. That is very promising. They build them in lots. Ordered same day as yours with est ship date 2/24. That was according to the POC sheet which was printed on 2/9. Still no parts list or window sticker so guessing it hasn't been built yet. Don't see it shipping on 2/24. I've got a number of trips along with a new 5th wheel RV coming tied to this truck being delivered by 12 weeks (dealer said 8 to 10).I ordered on 1/8/21 and I was told about 6 weeks by my dealer.
