2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

So they built my truck on Sunday. I received the build sheet on Monday. Today (Tuesday) I received my window sticker. Does that mean that it has shipped. The SL date on the window sticker is Monday 1/18. Confusing how they got all the optional accessories installed that quickly.

Our VINS are close, 553069 and I ordered 09/22/20, and of course STILL in D status
 
Ordered my truck on 12/4 . checked with Ram Chat on Monday night 1/18 they indicated the truck was in the trim build stage. My build sheet showed up dated 1/20. I think that means it's through the inspection process. 553031 Its a 3500 mega cab HO drw

Dang good deal I am at 19 weeks today and according to the dealership could be the 11th of February before my truck is here that would be 22 weeks
 
Dealer contacted me, My truck will "Supposedly" be delivered next week which will put me at week 18.
I'll believe it when I see it.
 
Just contacted my sales person. Truck was last in NM. Waiting for it to hit the rail yard in AZ. So crossing my fingers it will be soon.
 
Ordered on 1/8 and currently in D1 with vin. Dealer said 8 - 9 weeks. Seeing some of you guys who ordered back in Sept 2020 and have not received the truck yet, or just getting it scare me. I can't wait till summertime for my truck. LOL.

Wondering if an option or color that pushed these out, or was there a shut-down in the plant that caused this? Although I flipped through many of these pages I just can't read 70 pages of this thread. :eek: Too painful.
 
It seams that the color makes a big difference in how long the build takes. Along with ram boxes and vendor add ons like bed liner and side steps. Mine is Olive Green with Ram Boxes and bed liner. Ordered 9/30 and hoping the truck will be here in the next week. It seems the more basic colors are built faster.

I ordered mine delmonico red, with bed liner, power steps, 5th wheel prep, and bed cover.
mine just hit KZ status and I ordered 10/30/2020

Mine is a Big Horn, Hydro Blue, Crew Cab short box, Bed liner, Stationary running boards and Bumper step. Spent 3 weeks at body Vendor for the Non-Assembly line add ons but Now they are supposedly caught up and turning out trucks faster. Ordered on 09-23-20. Shipped 12-18-20. Been sitting at rail yard in Chicago area for over two weeks waiting to be released to transporter to bring into Wisconsin. Dealer's regional rep. now said it should be at Dealership next Tuesday give or take a Day or Two... It was supposed to be delivered between Jan 4th -18th. Then it got pushed by for some unknown reason to January 22nd to Feb 5th. Next week will be week 18 since ordered. I've seen others who have their truck in as short as 10 weeks. No logical reason for so many delays.
 
All of these early December orders that have finally gotten their stickers are starting to give me hope :oops:.... VIN on 12/12...568639 still no build sheet...argh. Here's to hoping that excluding side steps and a bed liner will help speed up my build....
 
Mine was apparently built on 01/18th, and on 1/16 it was still in D1! accessories and bed liner went in on 1/19th and today it’s in ship status passed inspection and completed. Hoping for mid February delivery. Ordered 12/1. Mega Cab longhorn, completely loaded. Really surprised with progress lately! Anyone who had ram boxes on their builds will see them getting completed quiet quickly as they there out of stock at factory and are back in!

Let me go out on a limb here and say you had a delmonico red truck?? Mine was built on the 17th and was in KZ status on the 19th. They installed my power steps, bedliner, 5th wheel prep, and bed cover in one day. So hopefully mid February for both of us. Mine is going to the Saint Louis area.

Pearl White, but that would of been crazy! Apparently they ship them out in lots, and that particular load of cars has to go to same distribution area/center as dealer said before we get exact dealer eta. But mid February we should get em! Can’t wait!!!
