I ordered on 10 Nov 2020, Vin and D1 status on 20 Nov 2020, truck built on 21 Dec 2020, truck shipped on 23 Dec 2020, truck on dealer lot 19 Jan 2021. What a crappy way to see your truck for the first time. I hope they get you fixed up good as new.

My wife actually wanted me to walk on the deal because of the damage, I told her I’m not walking after waiting 19 1/2 weeks, they’ll get it fixed

I am also at 19.5 weeks and after reading this a I have something else to worry about besides will it actually arrive next week as estimated. I have got to stop reading this forum or I will go crazy

I once backed my truck straight into a cut-off mesquite limb and dented the crap out of my tailgate. It looked like someone whacked it with a hand sledge. I took it to a good but cheap body shop and even many years later, you couldn't tell that it had ever been damaged.

You're a VERY Lucky guy. If you've been watching or following posts here, There are alot of us who are anywhere from 17 to 20 weeks and still waiting on our Trucks. Congrats on your New Truck. Enjoy...

Judging by the grease pencil marking it appears that the damage happened before it shipped....and what is the story with the removed bumper?

They wrecked the bumper when they backed into something, my guess is they weren’t expecting me to just stop by and were trying to get it fixed without me knowing

The same thing happened to me back in September on my first order. The whole front end was beat up real bad from the train, dented and scratched in 8 different spots. I’m glad I dropped in and discovered this like you. They were trying to fix it and put a new hood on without me knowing. I refused delivery and ordered another. My dealer did give me a much better deal on the second one to make things right. I’ve now been waiting 7 months since I first placed an order.
