Halogen to OEM LED swap

Possibly. These BCMs are shared with other vehicles, such as the grand Cherokee, Durango, wrangler, etc. If you notice, a lot of the pin numbers for these settings have multiple functions described, depending on which vehicle the bcm is used in. The pin number (A5) refers to the connector on the BCM, and the wire position on that connector (A is the C1/A connector on the BCM). On the pre-2019 Rams, pin A5 just happens to be the output that drives the bed lights, and on the 2019+ HDs, that output drives the right signature light, so the name of the feature is irrelevant. The developer might have not renamed that circuit for the 2019 list when these trucks just came out, so I would try setting that to YES, along with the A7 setting, and see if it works.
I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work I can just go back and set it to "no" right?

I switched those settings to yes, but didnt notice a change. Not sure if it matters, but the truck was actually running this time versus when I made the other changes (it was cold had to warm it up). When I turn the lights to the off position the head lights themselves stay on, look a little more dim, guessing a DRL situation. The signature lights are off though. The only time the signature lights are on is when the headlights are on or in the parking lights position.

Ok, set this setting to YES-
CBC Extern.Light Calibr.:
Signature Light Present

This one is going to seem a little picky, but I'm not a fan of DRL from the headlights themselves. I like the signature lights though. Anyway to turn off the DRL headlights while not affecting the signature lights?

Yes. Go into the radio settings under lights, and turn off daytime running lights.

Thanks Jimmy, I will go out and give it a try. Was not successful with getting the windows to leave idle or please wait.

Did not work for me because my android version does not have CBC Config I/O Usage front park/signature lamp left pin A7- YES or CBC Extern.Light Calibr.: Signature light present- YES listed. Is everything being done under body computer and then car config?

I’m starting to really hate the Android version of AlfaOBD. How about this- do you have 2014 CBC connector pin A7 snow plow left turn spare hsd? If so, try feature a, b, and c, and see if any of them work. If none of those work, then you’re going to have to use the windows version.

Also, when I connect to the BCM, even though my truck is a 2020, it connects to My2016-17, even though I select 2020. Does it being a Tradesman matter?

It does have that but I was unsure when I opened it and saw the A, B, C on what to do. I will give that a shot.

Tried it but that did not work. I'm having issues getting the windows version to either idle or please wait. If I can't get it going, if I just disconnect the security bypass and go to the dealers for the sales code, would that make the headlights work? I really hate on giving up but I'm starting to get frustrated. At least I do have the led headlights which are much brighter. Also, I wonder why Duallys version of the android Alfa Obd would be different than mine.

Dealer can’t add the sales code for these lights. The Android version just automatically detects what MY BCM it thinks you have, and there are multiple variants for the 2019+ Rams.
For the windows version, can you connect to the BCM at all? At what point does it go idle?

Jimmy, I think where I may have messed up was I did not have a com port selected in the advanced mode. My wife is using the laptop now so it probably won't be till tomorrow before I can play with it. Plus, I've had a few long island ice teas and don't want to screw something up  . Thanks for all the help that you have been giving!!!!

Jimmy, I was able to get the windows version to work but no where in there does it show signature lights. To me, it looks the same as the Android version. It did have CBC Config I/O-right dedicated DRL lamp/right signature led lamp present/right front turn signal #2 and the same for the left. I tried those and those did not work.

Once you are connected to your BCM with the windows version like you normally would, click advanced mode. Drop down the list of BCMs and select 2020 DJ, then click active diagnostics and go into car configuration change.
