That is absolutely correct. And dealers are pretty honest about it when you talk to them. That's why we ended up at the dealer we did. They were forthcoming, but found a way to work with us a littleChrysler eliminated the Dealer Volume incentives. They used to get 100k to more a month when they met a specific amount of sold vehicles. If you got there at the rite day at the end of the month or you have been negotiating via email you may have gotten a deal when they had to move a unit to meet the threshold. There is a $1,700 holdback below the invoice in the vehicle along with $500 in Advertisement money. The best way to buy a vehicle is with a fleet account. Dealers now know without volume incentives that fleet customers are the priority and most are ramping up for that by adding fleet personal and garage space. I can not disclose the savings with the purchase I just ordered because I signed a non-disclosure with the fleet agreement.

I agree, I was/am very pleased. I only wanted Olive Green Pearl, and inventory is practically non existent out there at least by me. To make matters worse it seemed dealers weren't even in the business of trading with each other like I'm used to. I was very close to just placing a factory order (at a much worse deal) before I found and negotiated this one all remotely. Travelled 1.5 hrs to get her and I was half expecting a bait/switch but thankfully no issues whatsoever! I don't know how they did it, but they did. That's an amazing deal, where did you get it? 12% discount off is a lot. My dealer is holding firm at 9.1% discount.

No trade you just had to prove ownership of Ford/GM.Cool. Was the Conquest (Ford) because of a trade-in?
How does the TrueCar rebate work?
Were you talking with Heritage? (I am in York, I was talking to Heritage, who has a Baltimore and Harrisburg location, they had the best local pricing, but decided to stick with the guy a mile down the street.

Last December I purchased a 2019 3500 Limited. The window sticker was 82,000.00 and change. They threw in the good winter floormats, full fuel and DEF, and fully undercoat and rust proofing (lifetime warranty). I wrote the check out for 65,000.00 total. I thought that I did very well. Sold my 2011 Ram 2500 Laramie loaded w/55000 mi., v plow, 5th wheel and gooseneck to a friend for 40.000.00. That truck was immaculate. Both are 6.7 diesels.Let's hear what everyone is paying for their new Heavy Duties! These threads are great as it give people an idea of pricing to shoot for when purchasing.
I think the best way to make this thread is as follows:
MSRP of the specific truck
What Rebates and incentives were applied and $ amounts
Any further negotiations
Final price
Please do not include trade in values, taxes, OTD price or anything like that as those are all variable depending on where you live etc. Rebates and incentives are also regional so also please post up where you purchased the truck and when.
Example:
2016 Ram 1500 Sport
MSRP $64,440
-$10,000 rebate from Ram
-$1000 skilled trades rebate
-$3940 additional negotiated at dealer
=$49,500 paid
