Remote start added to 2020 Tradesman (SOLVED)

Nope. I have only installed the remote starter and tailgate assist shock. Everything else it's stock. Could I screw up settings in AlfaOBD? At first I changed the CBC Features: Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) Hood Ajar Monitoring and I don't remember if it should be set to NO or YES. VTA hood ajar monitoring wouldn’t affect anything, but you can set that one to no, since your truck will always think the hood is closed with the hood ajar circuit grounded with the resistor. Just had this done today on my 2020 3500 Tradesman. Worked like a champ--used the link provided on here to order the key fob and requested the dealer to program the fob and add the sales code.
Appreciate everyone on this thread--saved me at least $500 on having to purchase remote start!

Thank you all for the assistance. Yesterday afternoon the dealer programmed my key FOBs and remote start is working now. When I start the truck with the key FOB the truck doors remain locked, (I wondered), and the truck remains in a remote start mode that you cannot just jump in and shift, as the shifter stays locked until you press the push button start to take it out of that mode. I can disable the beeping right with alphaobd? I am not for sure I will do that, but thinking about it. Dealer charged me about $67.00 for both FOBs and it took about 40 minutes from the time I checked in.

This will put the setting in the radio so you can toggle the feature on or off.
My dealer charged me $70 for one FOB. But I assume they will charge me same for two. It took them over hour and a half to do it. But they played with adding gate assistance sales code to it also. I am not sure what you mean if I can unlock the door right after I remote start it? I can unlock the doors after remote starting the truck, but I did not try it immediately after starting the truck. Mine is a diesel though and I have to wait for the preheat to finish before the truck will start and that takes 6-10 seconds or so. Yes. When I remote start my truck and try to unlock it few seconds later it will not unlock. I have to stand there for maybe 15-20 seconds and then I am able to unlock it.I am not sure what you mean if I can unlock the door right after I remote start it? When I enabled remote start in alfaobd the horn function showed up in my menu right away. Maybe it all depends on the version of truck.Perfect Jimmy, thanks as always!

I can post the part number I used, but it was a MOPAR kit though. Came with the hood hinge w/sensor, two key FOBs, some zip tie straps, a small wiring harness, a CD with the install manual on it, and that was about it I think.I order from the same guy I always order most parts for my truck from Mopar Superstore.
