Yes, the weight of the system, just like any other option, reduces rated payload.Does the air suspension on the '26 SRW CC Laramie/Longhorn Cummins take payload weight off? I have a '19 "little" 6.7TD that has ~3980 in the bed as configured, want to go to a MC for the next truck but can't lose much if any pin weight for trailer capacity. Looks like the new/only Cummins has grown to 24K# for towing. Need the same if not more capacity at the pin though as I have today. Thanks for any help/pointers.
My 2019 SRW Bighorn Cummin's has a GVW of 12,300 and a light weight of 7,734 lbs
Funny you should ask...just drove it home from the dealer this afternoon: 2026 2500 Limited with 6.7 and factory air (+level 1 equipment group, block heater, rambox delete, dual alternators). Can anyone share the sticker for a 2500 CC 6'4" bed Limited/Loaded Laramie with the Cummins and factory air rear suspension? Since the bags replace the springs on a 2500, I'm wondering what the overall effect is on the payload (and lesser extent towing). Would be great if someone had the same config in a Loaded Rebel too.

Here is a link to a dealer page that links to the document (big red button down the page a bit): 2026 RAM Towing CapacityThat's great info, thank you! I'd like to have the PDF as a reference, but cannot find it. Can you link me to the Comprehensive-2026-Ram-2500-Towing-Capacity-Charts-By-Configuration.pdf ?
Having never driven one with the air suspension, how do you feel it drives as compared to the Coils? Since I'm likely custom ordering, I figured I'd include the option with the assumption that it's an overall net benefit for unloaded ride quality and improves towing, but I'd like to hear your thoughts
Also, the spec you have is very close to what I'm considering ordering, do you mind sharing what you ended up paying? Feel free to DM me for that if you'd prefer. Thanks!

I'm not really qualified to opine on the ride quality compared to rear coil springs. I've driven it a total of 40 miles (home from the dealer yesterday) and my previous truck was a 2019 1500 Limited with four-corner air suspension. I do recall that when test driving RAM 2500s (with coils) and Ford F-250s before we ordered that the 2500s were noticeably less "truck-ish" than the F-250s (but more truck-ish than my 1500).
I really got the air suspension because I absolutely love(d) the auto-leveling on the 1500 and this truck (the 2500) is destined for a life of towing. By way of example, I bought the 1500 new: it had 116,000 miles when I traded it in, of which 71,600 miles were towing our 7500# travel trailer.
Here is the window sticker for the new 2500 so you can see what I got:

Yeah, it would seem so. Unless the block heater and trailer camera wiring are made of depleted uranium.Thank you for the write-up and links. My desire in getting the auto level/air suspension is to an attempt to get closer to the driving characteristics of my Sierra 1500 max tow 3.0 diesel, so it sounds like you're trying to do the same. I'm also wondering if the shocks on a rebel + the air suspension may be an even better ride. Based off the PDF you linked, the limited is about about 170lbs less than a Laramie and the rebel is 100lbs less than a Laramie. Since your limited is 2900 with the air suspension, it looks like Air only costs an additional 100lbs in payload.
