Hello all,
I have a 2025 Ram 4500 with the Laramie Package. I just picked up back up from the dealer for a couple issues, one being it was totally dead Monday when I went to start it, then freaked out the whole way to the dealer after I got it jumped. They did a couple updates and performed the two recalls. That seems to have fixed whatever the battery issue was and the trailer brake lights flashing and going wild.
My first issue/question really throws me for a loop. This is my 3rd 6.7 with DPF. I have 4k miles on it, most all of them empty/unloaded. Even when I'm loaded, it's only about 3500#'s, just my little rock buggy on the flat bed/deck. The DPF gauge has NEVER read above 0%. Even if I let it sit there and idle, it will never get above 0%. From my previous 6.7 experiences, that is absolutely not correct. When I brought it back up to the service advisor today at Chapman Ram in Scottsdale, his response was, "oh well that's good then, just drive it". I'm thinking, get real dude, something is not right with it...
The other issue is, even with the Laramie package, it has no TPMS or TPIS??? My buddies basic Big Horn 4500 even has TPIS and he can see all his tire pressures on his dash. Mine apparently doesn't have sensors at all according to the dealer, and they cannot be added since it has no TPMS receiver and no previsions to plug one in? Does that sound right?
Thanks for any input!
