Got my 2022 ram 6.4 hemi engine replaced under warranty. Heater still doesn't work. Burped it several times. Checked the bend door actuator, it goes back and forth. Then pulled both heather hoses on the firewall, flushed each side with a hose, no black ages there. Plugged the hose to the other sides to the block, water still came out after going thru the oil filter housing, no block.
Im thinking the hose routing must be wrong.
I work on a lot of older simpler cars, and I cannot see how this ram would get water from the radiator to that oil filter housing/coolant control valve area, there are only 2 water ports and they both go the the firewall on my setup. Seems like one should be coming from a feed from the lower rad hose to the old filter housing, then to the firewall, heater core, and the other coming from the heater core back to the over flow tank. But its a mess down there.
