I am in the same boat as you. I Want to add the digital mirror to my 26 2500. I have 360 surround and auto dimming mirror also. I am pissed Ididn’t realize the truck came with out the digital mirror. I installed the mirror and 3 brake light camera on my 22 3500 limited. Easy plug and play. I am miss it. So I bought a wolfbox 900 digital mirror dash cam to get by for now. Hopefully that works good. Have installed it yet

I would think just installing it like before, it should work. Programming is needed to get the auto dim mirrors working again, but the mirror, camera and processor should just work.
I’ve figured out the programming with alfaobd on these trucks too, but it’s a process, and requires a dealer visit for the last step.
I thought people were having issues if they installed them on other trucks without programming. Error messages on the screen or something. Maybe I’m misremembering.
Nice to hear that you’ve found a solution for programming the new trucks. I’m sure given enough time someone (probably you) will find a way to skip the dealer step as well.
Oh, there is, but it’s basically more expensive than the dealer visit.
Hey. So I have a 2026 Ram 2500 rebel. If I install the mirror 68654265AA and Chmsl 68614663AA like before the digital mirror will work but lose auto dimming on the mirrors? Or is there more items I need to install? I just read a few people with 25 and newer getting the no camera symbol on the mirror.
You also need the camera processor that goes under the driver seat.

No, it’s different. Starting in 2023, the DRVM uses a dedicated camera processor for all of its cameras.
Ok. Do you know the part number. I bought a wolfbox 900 mirror to get by for now. I haven’t installed it yet I was wondering if I us the 10 pin power cord that powers my oem mirror would effect auto dimming?
The DRVM camera module is 68508050AD.
The mirror will work normally with displaying the camera image without programming, but none of the auto dimming mirrors will work without programming.
Unfortunately I am not an expert on these kind of things. Is it hard to install the camera module under the seat. Is there any instructions anywhere. I am just surprised with the 360 surround the module is not on the truck all ready. Just confused. You run the cable from brake light to the mirror and then what do you run to the module? Sorry for all the questions. I really appreciate the help.

I miss having the digital mirror as well. My 22 had it and I could care less about auto dimming as long as the rest works. Guess I’ll keep an eye out for the kit. The other option that I miss even more is auto climate control. Didn’t realize my 25 didn’t have it until after I bought it. Anyone know if this option could be added to a 2025 with the 8.4 screen?

Thanks. I have the 360 surround cameras. I am surprised Ram doesn’t give the module. Well to be honest I have not looked under the front seat. I had the digital mirror and 360 cameras on my 2024 Ram 3500 limited. I don’t remember seeing a module under the front seat when I used to vacuum. I should’ve kept that truck but I wanted the new 6.7 and 8 speed.
