Your gun is poop

I took my new Lipsey's limited edition Ruger American Scout rifle to the range a few weeks ago and was disappointed with the the 2"-3" groups at 100yds.

I went home, removed the picatinny rail that tied the action to the barrel, replaced the flash hider with a thread protector, torqued the action screw a half-turn, and replaced the 2x-7x scope with a 2.5x-10.5x scope.

With the same ammo, got groups down to 1/2"...

That's disappointing to hear about the Ruger. I had read some good to great reviews on the new Scouts. Glad you were able to get it sorted. Any idea if it was an issue with the optic or rail or both?

As much as it pains me to do so, we can't allow firearm sales here guys so the post was removed. Not only is ANY selling in the forums not allowed, but advertising personal firearms, parts, and ammo for sale is not allowed here.
My apologies! I wasn't thinking about generating sales when I posted the links. I can see how it looked bad. Sorry!

Reported for being a party pooper

So way back in October, I had to return my GForce arms Mares Leg as it had seized up while firing it. Could not budge the action at all.
So finally yesterday, I get a email from them stating they cannot repair it, so they are sending me a new one.
I think this time, I will tear it down and make sure no loose parts inside or metal shavings before taking it out to shoot

308?? I was lucky with my AR10, shot about where you are now with non matched rounds. My AR15, not even in the hunt. got some work to do. Unfortunately I live in Washington and my mentioned rifles are now illegal, stupid liberals.

My AR10 is a PSA10 and is lucky to get close to 1" groups.

I'm also in WA state and am 2 miles from the Idaho border. Trying to get back to Idaho where I was born and grew up, but housing prices are insane. My house in Idaho, a mere few miles away, is worth twice what it is in commie Washington.

Yeah, looks like people are leaving here (washington) which lowers prices, then moving to Idaho/Montana which is driving prices up. I'm not giving up just yet, will stand and fight the socialist regime. Second Amendment Foundation is suing our evil governor into 2A submission. Washington is a beautiful state, the disgusting politics and liberal morons are making it ugly to live here. Anyway, good luck finding a way to get back to your Idaho roots. Love the panhandle, its gorgeous!

Pair of metal frame two tone m&ps

I found someone parting out a competitor locally and snagged the tungsten cerakote metal frame. The one on the left was a poly frame and the one on the right I built from parts, also starting with a locally sourced ODG metal frame from a spec series. Purchased a carry comp slide etc from smith factory and ed brown guide rods and springs in both
