Are you referring to the FARKA connector or is a round 12 pin?? Do you have the Digital rearview mirror.Hello,

Are you using this?Vision Works Cameras has a great wireless option that uses AUX 2. It can also be hard wired if needed. I use it on my 5th wheel.

If your Ford Super Duty truck (2017 - current) or Ram (2020 - current) has a 12 pin outlet above the 7 way plug (as shown in top left corner in photo to the left) and has a Sync 3 w/ 8" screen or Sync 4 w/ 12" screen or Uconnect w/ 8.4 or 12" screen, the truck may be a candiate for this system...www.visionworkscameras.com
I emailed them to confirm compatibility. I do have the 12-pin but didn’t option for the cam pre wiring.
There were instructions to hardwired the camera as well. Are you needing it for a RV?I emailed them to confirm compatibility. I do have the 12-pin but didn’t option for the cam pre wiring.
Yes and I don’t necessary mind hard wiring. The issues is while I have a 12 pin connector on the truck, I’m not sure it’s actually wired up to the screen. There were instructions to hardwired the camera as well. Are you needing it for a RV?

@dg2024, I have the digital mirror trailer camera for my '25 Laramie 2500 and agree that the bumper connector is very fragile. Also had connection issues that were caused by a bent pin on the trailer-side plug. After straightening the pin, it works fine (i.e., image flickers on very rare occasion) but I'm now very careful when connecting that plug to the bumper or the trailer dock. A friend with a 5th wheel also had connection issues, and he had to replace the bumper-side plug to resolve them.
@sstoner911, is your wireless camera still working well? I'm debating whether to get that wireless kit, the wired kit, or trying to cobble together a wired kit on my own (e.g., buy a 12 pin plug/pigtail, an analog camera, and enough cabling to connect the two).
