Are you referring to the FARKA connector or is a round 12 pin?? Do you have the Digital rearview mirror.

If you do a quick Google search you will find it....probably on this forum...

FWIW, I can confirm the same trailer camera (for DRVM) worked on both my 2023 and 2025.

Any Mopas analog trailer camera will work on any ram with the 12 way connector connection

Vision Works Cameras has a great wireless option that uses AUX 2. It can also be hard wired if needed. I use it on my 5th wheel.

Are you using this?

I emailed them to confirm compatibility. I do have the 12-pin but didn’t option for the cam pre wiring.
There were instructions to hardwired the camera as well. Are you needing it for a RV?

Yes and I don’t necessary mind hard wiring. The issues is while I have a 12 pin connector on the truck, I’m not sure it’s actually wired up to the screen.

I have a 2025 RAM 3500 SRW Laramie with the wired camera integration into the UConnect 14" Display, and Digital review mirror. I have the factory supplied camera installed in my 6x12 cargo trailer. My connection to view the input from my camera on the digital mirror is very spotty and often loses connection, and sometimes I can't get it to connect at all. Anyone else having this issue? It seems to me that there might be a loose connector somewhere along the wiring path. Also feel like the connection where the camera plugs in at the bumper is not very sturdy. It's disappointing as well that with the price of these trucks, and it being HD, that some of the parts like this are so perceivingly flimsy. Would like RAM to make that a little more robust.

Side note: I'm also pretty disappointed in the image when I do get one. I don't think the lens is vertically large enough. I can't see the ground close to the trailer and far enough back to assist with guiding the trailer when in reverse at the same time. I have to point the camera either too far down, or too far out to be beneficial even when Zoomed out as far as it will allow.

@dg2024, I have the digital mirror trailer camera for my '25 Laramie 2500 and agree that the bumper connector is very fragile. Also had connection issues that were caused by a bent pin on the trailer-side plug. After straightening the pin, it works fine (i.e., image flickers on very rare occasion) but I'm now very careful when connecting that plug to the bumper or the trailer dock. A friend with a 5th wheel also had connection issues, and he had to replace the bumper-side plug to resolve them.

@sstoner911, is your wireless camera still working well? I'm debating whether to get that wireless kit, the wired kit, or trying to cobble together a wired kit on my own (e.g., buy a 12 pin plug/pigtail, an analog camera, and enough cabling to connect the two).

The cameras is still working well. I have noticed that sometimes if I view it while going to down the freeway if I am trying to see what is behind me, the picture can sometimes be wavy. Using it while backing it works perfectly or at surface street speeds its fine. So on the freeway it may have something to do with the wireless antenna on the receiver getting some interreference as its mounted on the kingpin of the 5th wheel.
