What did you do TO your RAM today?

Simple stuff today....just some de-badging.

Not sure about the big badge...I may replace it with a black one now that the smoked LED taillights are on.

Also removed the badges on the lower part of both front doors:

This is my favorite thread on all the other forums I’m part of it. I haven’t seen it on this sight. If I’m duplicating, I’ll delete! But here is what I did today.
I put on Diesel Fuel and DEF caps and called about Ranch Hand replacement bumper I’m ordering.View attachment 4679View attachment 4681
Nice addition where did you obtain those caps.Good idea to help keep unwanteds out of tanks

I got the Power Wagon on her first trail and gashed the sidewall of a crappy Duratrac tire at 12k feet! lol. Truck was amazing but the tires are horrible. Upgrading this week to my favorite AT4Ws this week. So this was a combo, what I did WITH as well as TO I guess.

Doing nothing today on our 2024 Ram 3500 4x4 CTD and nothing on our 2016 Ram PW. Replaced the rear brakes on our family's 2014 2500 4x4 CTD yesterday and replacing air lifts today. Another day in a remote region of Wyoming.

New cheap Amazon winch bumper installed.

Would not recommend. Horrible gap, tortuous install, and need to trim wheel well liners.

When I remove it to put the winch on, I'll see about drilling new holes in the mounting plates so I can reduce the gap.

You could have done the Vice Design hidden winch mount if not a fan of the bumper

One of my buddies in high school that I had known since 6th grade had a 1964 Galaxy with 3 on the column.
I love the body style, and I can have the car for a family discount of $1000, but I just don't have the time or space to fix it up. Rat Rodding it would be cool, and the only viable financial option since the entire interior needs to be gutted, and a proper restoration would be easily over $50k, with already restored versions going for under $40k.

Please get one of these if you're going to be pulling on stuff.

Nice, but not needed. As I pointed out in the video, the soft shackle, rated at 42k lbs, was wrapped through both breakaway attachments and around the hitch. My gear is anchored by far more metal than a 5/8" hitch pin rated at 12,500lbs.

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest point, and the weakest point of most receiver hitch accessories is the hitch pin. The typical Walmart hitch pin is rated at 10,500lbs.
